Charlie Rose get totally owned by Rick Santorum on CBS Morning show

The media is taking their attacks on Santorum’s social views to the extreme – another example is the reaction to a joke told by a Santorum supporter. Yes, Santorum is getting grilled over something a suppoter said (which wasn’t even controversial). Charlie Rose tried to attack him on it, and Santorum wasn’t having any of it and delivers an epic take down during their interview on “CBS This Morning.” Catch the exchange and reaction.

Watch video of the exchange below:

Once again the double standards of the propaganda machinery of the left is made manifestly clear.

Obama is given a pass on all of his radical sayings, ideology and influences from those he associates with for years or decaded on end.

Yet Santorum is called to task before the modern Inquisition by the left for what one supporter of his says.

    Hypocrisy across the board.

  • Anonymous

Actually, I would have liked to have heard how Santorum defended someone that is completely financing his campaign.  As opposed to Rev. Wright, who was not in any way financially associated with Obama’s campaign.  Santorum just ducked the question by putting the blame on the media.  His response made him look even more evasive.  He turned what was a bad joke by a supporter into an even bigger flub.

I really have to say, WHAT!  The man told the same thing that has been taught in the youth community for yearsand  to the young ladies of the nation.  That is “Keep Your Knees Closed”.   It is not a bad thing to be sufficently educated to have the discipline to not enter into risky activities just because it feels good.   The comment “the old way girls practiced birth control was by holding an aspirn beteen their knees” is exactly that teaching. To day it is called Abstinance!

GET HIM SANTORUM! Is Charlie Rose I robot or something I don’t think he showed one emotion?

His response made him look even more evasive.

Evasive of what.  He put his full viewpoinit and program and votiing record on the table.  You lefties aren’t really up to the sophistication level of managing a country instead of chopping it up through divisive political gotchas.

  • Anonymous

The comment is offensive since it puts the onus of abstinence on the woman rather than both partners.  It basically denigrates women who would choose to have sex; it’s that same shamming mindset where a woman having sex is considered a sl….you get the idea, but a man having a lot of sex is a stud. Something about that mindset has to change.

Hey, the old aspirin trick worked for my wife (before I married her).  It does work.  So, what’s the beef?

  • Anonymous

What was ‘off-color’ with Friess’ comments?  It was a funny and pointed comment about current contraception marketing.  Since the pill costs about the same as aspirin, why should insurance policies, both private and public, pay for it?  View the PP website for really off-colored comments. This subject is a ruse by the Obama team to distract from his failing record.  Remember, George Steppie hammering Romney about abolishing contraception at the ABC debate a month ago?  It appeared ‘out of the blue’ at the time but now exposed as a Democrat election strategy to paint Republicans has ‘taking your contraception away’ when no such thing exists.

You are a real idiot if you think the only one contributing to Santorum is Foster Freize.  Many of us who think character and morals count for important parts of our culture are supporting Rick.  We would like to have integrity and honesty to the White House, something that is missing in our present administration.  Check the Presidents promises (review his video of his campaign promises) against his “accomplishments”.

I had to smile when I first heard Friess’s comment about that aspirin.  I heard that on an off-color album by Doug Clark and the Hot Nuts back in the 1960′s — that crack has been around a LONG time.  :+)

From what I’ve heard, he’s not completely financing Santorum’s campaign; he’s given about $330,000.  This has been reported on several FOX News programs, on Glenn Beck and Rush’s radio programs today.

Santorum should say that he will give back Frieses’ $380k gift after Honduras and Indonesia give back his disaster relief gifts(in excess of $2,000,000 I believe).  Other than that he’s answered the question, and wants to move on(bad choice of words).

Santorum seemed very nervous and did not handle himself very well.  Charlie was very patient with him though.  I thought his questions were not as tough as they should have been and I would have liked more clarification on Santorum’s views on contraception.  I liked Charlie’s question about what would Santorum like Israel to do now but Santorum doesn’t seem to have a good understanding of foreign policy.  Charlie was so darn polite to him.

My wife worked as a large city hospital nurse in the 70s-80s.  They had a young woman on the floor that came in for health issues who also had an unintended pregnancy.   When asked had she been taking her birth control pills she said emphatically, most positively she had been.  Had she missed any days?  Absolutely not!!  She insisted that everyday she INSERTED one of the pills.  No one had told her they were ORAL contraceptives.  True story.

Am I for big government, Planned Parenthood, and the like??  No.  What we need is to get back to true education of our children and a return to strong families.  The Dem welfare state and the War on Poverty has rendered a large segment of our citizenry almost completely illiterate and totally dependent on an incompetent federal government.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

LMAO!!!! hahaha…. THE RECORD TO PROVE IT!!! Santrums record is terrible and he proves it about 40 seconds into the video, when he admitted on voting for a bill that gave federal funding for contraception, something that he is, all of a sudden strongly against…. he’s only against it now, b/c it doesn’t benefit his pocket.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

I love how 40 seconds into the video he admits to voting on a bill to federally fund contraception, and then says how great his record is. Btw, what did Beck say about the stuff that happened to Ron Paul 20 years ago with newsletters…. You have to know whats going on when something goes out under your name, b/c your running for pres… well maybe Santorum should of known whats was going on when this guy decided to do this, b/c you know, he is running for president.

Santorum understands the immediate attention our nation must spend on the Iranian nuclear issue. Some will call him a war-monger or worse, but the best way for our nation to come to physical blows with that ever increasingly dangerous nation, is to ignore their deadly rhetoric, as has the Obama plan of – “hide your head in the sand” who simply downplay the real threat we face.

Abstinence is 100% effective at preventing sexually transmitted disease and unwanted pregnancy. That’s why it’s a good idea to teach it.

The other methods… not so effective. Encouraging youth to experiment sexually only subjects them to the unwanted consequences.

Teach the 100% effective technique. Not everyone will take it to heart but, for sure, those who do will be far better off as a result.

Just think – if for one generation all of humanity could practice conservative relationships, nearly every venereal disease would vanish from the human species. Permanently. You can do your part in your own life.

I watch Glenn pull the watch trick (it’s a Rolex) on Reverend Sharpton which was a classic.   Charlie Rose was doing what I would expect an interviewer to do.  I think he was honestly impressed by the candor of Rick Santorum.  Message to Rick, stay honest and focused.  You have my vote.

  • Michael Fischer

Good for you Rick. There was a time, in our life time, when abstinence was the accepted thing. Teen pregnancy was definitely frowned upon and because of that there weren’t as many young girls getting pregnant. Was that bad? Was it bad that you could actually hope to marry a virgin and spend your whole life together? Society has devil-uted at such a rate now that young teens are sexting each other on their cell phones and nothing is shocking any more. This has not made us a better people. Those on the left say that if conservatives had their way that all women would be barefoot and pregnant in kitchen. My mother was one of those barefoot pregnant women. Motherhood was her profession. She raised me and my 3 brothers all the way through school. She was always there for us and believe me there were some harrowing times and semi serious injuries that had she not been there would have been disastrous. Yes, the joke about the aspirin between the knees was off color but there was a time not that long ago when joke shops used to sell big plastic pills called “birth control pills” and the instructions on the box simply said “place between the knees and hold tightly”. Maybe if we had more of those moms from yesteryear who were more interested in giving of themselves instead of living for themselves, concerned about having children and taking care of them, our society wouldn’t be so screwed up. Many women today have traded their natural God given calling as mothers to be successful in the commercial world. This is just one of the many things that has pulled us down as a nation.

Nothing new from the National Obama Channel –NBC, or the All Obama Channel–ABC or the Central Obama Station–CBS. They are owned and operated by Liberals who support Obama. The news media  including MSNBC,CNN,etc are all helping to get Obama re elected.      Great post ….what is needed is for our public officials and for our churches to engage our kids and teach the basic question of – “Why Sex” and “Why Marriage” it would help curve the fast-lane – at least make our young people think twice before engaging in something far beyond the comprehension of the pleasure of lust. Of course the family (something of a by-gone relic today) – should be the primary source of information

Absolutely very well done by Rick! I give him much credit for jumping into the “liberal frying pan” and coping very well with the mean “heat” Charlie and others like him turn on HIM. He kept his “cool” and answered steadily. GO FOR IT, SANTORUM!
(Let’s see OB sit there and tell us about his beliefs. And tomorrow, his beliefs, as they will change from day to day, guaranteed.)

  • Randall Tabor

Saw it happen “live.”  My two cents: Rose had no need to question Santorum on it at all.  The 25 cents here:) The supporter’s comments were to make a point that birth control is easy for people if they abstain – hence the “aspirin between the knees.”  Why Rose thought that comment had any specific reflection on Santorum I do not understand.  It is not as if Santorum said to the supporter, “Please tell the world about the aspirin analogy as if it is me speaking through you.”  However, I also think Santorum lost composure and the response was not poised, however correct it was.
Some people seem to think that there is no choice but to have sex.  This is then extrapolated to suggest that having a baby is an unnatural result of sexual intercourse.  The imagined health “problem” is is not a problem at all – just the natural consequence of a normal human reproductive act.
I am aware that most people have a hard time resisting the pleasure that comes from having sex and have little moral resolve against or little resistance to the act. Sex can be (as we know) an addiction and exacerbated by social pressure.   For this reason, having access to birth control offers value to society.  This should not be equated (as one recent liberal suggested- spoken by a Hannity guest) to blood transfusion (which may be a life saving act) for Jehovah’s Witnesses  or tax money from the Amish being used for building safety into road travel (requiring signs or illumination on slow moving, horse drawn buggies.) “Saving” a woman from pregnancy is a social issue and a lifestyle choice, not a health choice except in very rare circumstances.  Rape, incest, and “health” of the woman (danger to life) when regarding pregnancy are important, but not statistically significant (few.)  To use “health” as an argument to force any religion to accept the dispensation of a product (contraceptives) to control an act that is a social choice is really just a method to gain power over citizens and negate the teachings (free expression) of the religion.

Good job Rick, stand your ground & please don’t apologize for your stand on marriage and this is the context of the sexual partnership otherwise we are out of the will of GOD. Now after making that strong statement, maybe that is why GOD’s Holy Word tells us we all come short of the GLORY OF GOD and we must be repented of this falling short and not be proud of it or defend it. May GOD Help Us.

I like Santorum. He doesn’t back down from his personal beliefs but at the same time makes it known that he’s not out to take away anyone else’s rights (contraception). I really feel if we want to get rid of Obama, our candidate must open that door a little to bring in the independents possibly even some democrats. None of them will vote R if the candidate wants to force his beliefs on everyone. Rick does a good job standing by his beliefs but extending a hand to those who believe otherwise. I think he’s honest too, which is rare! I doubt there will ever be a candidate any of us will agree with 100% but you have to weigh it out. He seems honest, he’s got some great ideas, and understands that we are so sick of Obama and need help turning our country back around to a better direction. I believe he is now my choice when it comes time to vote.

Agreed. Santorum has gone from “Who?” to “Hmm”. Still hoping Giuliani will run, though.

Although I have the highest respect for Mormons, and Ezra Taft Benson was one of the best Secretaries of Agriculture we ever had there’s something distancing and, how do I put it, ‘pure white bread’ (lacking in the depth of whole grain) about Romney that puts me off.      Well said Randall, there is a deeper problem in our society that our churches must take partial blame for. With a land having virtually a  synagogue or a  church on every residential corner – why the public moral breakdown?

If our religious leaders understand that the act of sexual relations was a direct design and creation, why all the illiteracy on the subject? If the institution of marriage is an idea straight out of the pages of the bible – representing a God-Plain relationship, why such misunderstanding of the subject and why have our courts become overburdened with same-sex-marriage cases – this is proof our nation has slipped far below the standard set by our forefathers – because the above topics were frequently discussed in early America.

Until we seriously – as a nation – address the issue, any attempt to fix this national moral crisis will fail…no matter how many pills or legislation.

    I have tons
of experience and have done tons of research. Santorum has almost nothing to
offer anyone. What real job has Santorum ever really had except as a lobbyist.
Has Santorum ever started a business or run a business. Nope. Does he have any
executive experience – Nope. We already have a President who had no experience
and who has no clue about business. We do not need someone else who also lacks
    the same skills like Santorum.

    As far as the
sanctity of life – yes I believe but I will never judge anyone’s decision.

    When someone lacks
understanding of others religions and beliefs comes into play as President then
we have problems. Santorum’s arrogance strongly comes through as a know it all
and look at me I am wonderful and holy. Well Catholics are not like that at
all. They are very low key and not very demonstrative. Santorum’s ego attitude
does not equate with Christianity and definitely with the Catholic Church. I
want a President who truly believes and lives what he believes and not a show
and tell. I also do not want President who thinks his religion should be the
foundation for the Presidency. This should never happen. Our country is made of
numerous religions with different beliefs and implementation of those beliefs.  Our country incorporates everyone not a chosen
    few.

    One last
thing, you obviously have not been paying attention to the news and what is
happening. When a person like Santorum says he will go after something a state
has and was voted on an approved both by the state legislature and the people
of that state but since Santorum does not like it he will get rid of it – well
that is a major problem to me. Santorum’s ego and arrogance is a problem and he
should never be President of our country Santorum is against states rights and
    against women’s rights.

We need someone with real executive experience,
who has the knowledge to put the infrastructure in place to help companies grow
and be able to hire more people, a person who is open to all points or views,
respect others, their religions and beliefs, a President who knows the people
to put in place as Secretary of State etc. , choose a Vice President who will actually
be a viable part of the administration, someone who can choose and work with a
woman (which is something I doubt Santorum would do) ,  someone ready  to deal with the next potential attack on our
country, someone who can think out of the box, be flexible, and  have true leadership skills. Santorum has none
of these skills and extremely limited experience in anything. Santorum is not and never be Presidential material.

I heard this philosphy as a young stud. 67 years ago. But with a twist. “What do you you use as a contraceptive” one girl asked the other. “I use aspirin”. “Really??? Do you take it before or after sex?” The other girl replied “INSTEAD OF”

Did you have your own cellphone – laptop – iPad – today’s world of instant gratification, is far different from even 15 to 20 years ago. Our youth face pressures former generations didn’t have. But as you say, it starts in the home – that is the best place to combat the decaying of our future youth.

It seems to me Notolibs, you most definitely have a dislike of Mr. Santorum, each of us are entitled to our opinion and you have made yourself perfectly clear. On the other hand, I think Santorum would make the best President, when considering his running mates.

truth is – I feel our nation has slipped  beyond a moral plateau that we have never seen before and because of that, the majority of our nations citizens will stick it out with Obama – no matter how bad a job he’s doing, thats my gut feeling anyway – I hope I am wrong and of course time will tell.

Interesting. Here it is ridiculous that santorum is being grilled for something a supporter said. But you yourself criticize Ron Paul for what his supporters say? Interesting Beck. Let’s grill Santorum on stuff he actually says shall we? Like how he wants to assassinate Iranian Scientists and launch Preemptive wars. Great candidate you chose there.

It would be TOTALLY IMMORAL and against my Christian Beliefs to vote for Rick Santorum. The $16 TRILLION (and Growing) National Debt is the Main Reason why. Rick Santorum is a Tea Party “Phony” and a “Counterfeit” Conservative with a Record of supporting and voting for BIG Government Programs. He voted to RAISE the Debt Ceiling 5 TIMES. That is all THIS Christian Voter needs to know. These “Politicians”, Republican and Democrat, have MORTGAGED away our FUTURE Generations, and here we are – discussing Social “Freaking” Issues! I wish people would become more “Economically Literate” BEFORE they support a Candidate like Rick Santorum. Ron Paul is the ONLY Candidate that will steer this Country toward Economic Prosperity once again.

Why would any SANE Person vote for someone who played-a-part in creating the “unsustainable” $16 TRILLION National Debt??? It’s like putting an Addict “In Charge” of the Pharmacy. He handled Charlie Rose like Newt would have with the gottha comeback, about how the liberial news protect Oboma but attackes conservitaves and He was not going to play that game. To tell me that while Rev Wright was giving his left wing hate America speaches with Oboma sitting there saying ‘God Damm America’ Oboma never took notice. Thats like Clinton saying I smoked marijuana but I never inhaled it, oh yea right on. I like the way Santrum handled himself and he, I think will be a good president who will bring jobs back to the American families and take them off unemployment and off Oboma food stamps. That is no way to support your family and give it what most Americans want, a good paying job with no hand outs and plenty of food on the table and to hold your head up high while you thank God for our freedom and liberity.

I as well. Had many doubts but he’s starting to look real good as a front runner. Quite frankly, I am tired of hearing the name Romney. But either way, looking at everyone’s background, Obama still trumps everyone on radical corruption. I reside in Michigan and truthfully, not much has changed – the exits leading into Canada – Wisconsin – Ohio and Indiana all say the same thing – “Last one out, please turn off the lights”  What is needed in this state, is time for the newly elected conservatives to gain more power. Over the decades the Libs have completely destroyed most of its major cities. I think the people of our whole nation need a break, talk to us straight, cut us a break by lowering tax’s ect. Do something realistic  in jobs creation – drill for oil – reduce government red tap and open the doors of industry and small business by removing government oversight and bureaucracy

A lot of what you say is correct, but the unions with all of their demands killed Michigan.  They bought Obama, Santorum is another big union guy like Obama, he voted against right to work in PA.

You misunderstand—Obama gave taxpayers money to GM, the unions, but Victor owning stock got screxxd, yet as a taxpayer he had to participate in GMs bailout, why should he have to shoulder the payout plus losing a lot of money.

  • Anonymous

Agree, but Santorum had to play a certain roll in order to politically survive in Pen. Becoming president, I feel even though he backs unions, he will still open jobs here in the states the same jobs Obama has shut down. Oil ect

Again agree, at least in the automotive industry, it will take some hard planing and some renegotiating the union contracts – that will be nearly impossible with this generation of not only the Mich. work force,  but national.

There is no getting around it – Unions must rethink their positions and strategies, as you say, they drain away wealth faster then it can be replaced.

For lack of any clear-cut idea – I believe what is needed across the nation is a reevaluation of who we are as a people and what are we as a whole willing to do to right the wrong that we are currently experiencing. There will be no quick-fix – We have been to foolish for far too long and now its time to readjust our priorities – ideas????

Not plastic, real personality, warm, caring, intelligent. His expertise and experience make him a far better candidate for President than any other. Santorum started running for office in the late 80s. With a few breaks, because he was not reelected, his life has been as a DC insider, not a leader. Romney, if you have paid attention with an open mind, is solely qualified to tear down the mess Obama has built and rebuild an efficient, sleek, modern Government that works for  freedom and the citizens of the USA. I listened to Greta trying to goad Tommy Thompson into saying Mass Healthcare was a special deal that no other State recieved. He continued to tell her that all States can apply for expemptions on a State level and also stated that Mass Healthcare was an experiment and it worked well for Mass. Only the left leaning Cato institute called it like Obamacare. Everyone else pointed out the differences, which are big.

Santorum is an angry man. Has spent most of his adult life running for President, and tries to deny voting for the bridge to nowhere. and other pork barrel yea votes. Romney is the candidate for all citizens of the USA. He means what he says and does what he says he will do. He is by far the best man for the job.

I did. I’ve seen him on fox and wondered who he was and could not understand what he was talking about. He is not qualified to be President. When I hear people talk about Obama lite, Santorum comes to mind because of his similarity to No experience leading in private business. TAKE ANOTHER LONG LOOK. He has a habit of taking advantage of taxpayer dollars for personal use. Tax dollars paid for 80% of his childrens schooling.  He got caught and had to pay back $73,000. Thats the way to get the point across and make George feel like a looser. I don’t like Romney – he has the personality of a door knob – but I would vote for him just to keep Obama out of the White House for a second death sentence!!  If Obama is put in office again we can kiss our Great Nation goodbye!!  I personally like Newt Gingrich.  He is a born again Christian and I feel the only one who can debate Obama.  Of course he will not get in because the House doesn’t want him because he knows exactly how Washington works and he will go in and clean house.  My first choice is Gingrich, second is Santorum and lastly Romney.  That is my order of choice.  I would vote for Joe Blow in order to keep Obama out of my White House…That is my statement and I’m sticking to it!!!

Santorum IS NOT an angry man! He is one who stands on his beliefs and does not budge on them no matter how the media twists and turns his message. The problem with people like you is that you neither understand nor recognize a man of principle when you see him. So you automatically label them as ANGRY. Wrong answer. You shift and sway on your principles so you automatically run to a candidate with milk toast values like a ROMNEY or a MCCAIN. if you are conservative and want a conservative in the white House then vote for a conservative who stands for what he believes in

Hey ”Z”!   Good to see you back.   And I agree with your post.

    It is
immaterial who wins the Republican nomination if we can’t fix ballot
    corruption.

    The key to
Democrat victory in 2012 is ballot corruption on a grand scale.  ACORN, AARP,SEIU, Union money and union
goons, the Race card, homosexual activists and a proliferation of criminal  political activist organizations.  The collusion of these government funded
organization only scratches the surface of the monumental criminal activity
that will accompany the election in 2012.

    Under
present leadership, our Department of Justice has and will overlook criminal
activity whose prosecution might be damaging to the present
    administration.  Election fraud on the
part of Democrats won’t be identified as such or prosecuted when discovered.  We pride ourselves on being a Nation of
laws.  When the Department of Justice
collaborates with criminals, results are capricious.  When courts are capricious, or selective in
prosecution, there is no law.  The one institution
that keeps our system of government viable is a free and fair ballot.  Violate the ballot and we no longer have a
    Constitutional Republic.

    To save our
system of government we must demand that our election laws are obeyed and
violators be arrested and prosecuted.  To
do this it is imperative that our law enforcement agencies are not hobbled by
the present administration and that our courts are not stifled by the
    Department of Justice.

    Please take
this seriously!  Please do what you can
to stop this impending catastrophe.  Find
out who is counting your vote.  Contact
your congressmen, state and local officials, your election boards and anyone
    you feel can help.

Perhaps, ”mac”, bressler is as you say, but this one is also a big Ron Paul

    supporter.

  • Anonymous

Rose shouldn’t have commented on a supporter, but…
The media  should not let up on Santorum for statements he has made in the past that are recorded on video or audio…Here are a list of statements he will have to answer for…
    1.  Women should stay at home and not work:  “In far too many families with young children, both parents are working,
when, if they really took an honest look at the budget, they might find
they don’t both need to. … What happened in America so that mothers
and fathers who leave their children in the care of someone else — or
worse yet, home alone after school between three and six in the
afternoon — find themselves more affirmed by society? Here, we can thank
    the influence of radical feminism.”
    2.  Mormons are not Christian: “Would the potential attraction to Mormonism by simply having a Mormon
in the White House threaten traditional Christianity by leading more
Americans to a church that some Christians believe misleadingly calls
itself Christian, is an active missionary church, and a dangerous cult?”
    3.  Anti-Homosexual views: “If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual [gay]
sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the
right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to
adultery. You have the right to anything. Does that undermine the fabric
of our society? I would argue yes, it does. … That’s not to pick on
homosexuality. It’s not, you know, man on child, man on dog, or whatever
the case may be. It is one thing.”

He should answer for these statements.

Good post, 212.   The conservatives might have a fighting chance if all in the current

The ‘joke’ was told to me more than 40 years ago, when I was a kid in Catholic school. “Best birth control is aspirin. Put one between your knees, and hold it there” It’s not even crude. You can hear cruder language and innuendo on any channel at practically any time of any day.

Rick Santorum voted for big labor. Period, end of story.  A very helpful illustration to contrast Romney and Santorum is to focus on is the percentage and amount
each candidate has given to charity. Compare Mitt Romney 16% with Rick
Santorum 2%. NO COMPARISON! Also, Mitt Romney donated his Olympic salary
to charity, his entire inheritance to a university, and took NO SALARY
as governor of Massachusetts. He sounds like an evil rich guy doesn’t
he. Truth is he is living proof that the American dream is alive and
well. Don’t be fooled into thinking the Rick Santorum is more
conservative than Romney. Rick voted for BIG labor, has defending and
continues to defend earmarks, has openly opposed the Tea Party (watch
his town hall mtg in June of 2011), and has voted to increase the debt
limit several times. He was a lobbyist before he was a congressman, and
after he was a senator (although he was officially a “consultant”. He,
like Gingrich, is obviously a Washington insider (because both has
served in Washington and after leaving, both have become wealthy
“consulting” companies, special interest groups, and lobbyists.

Did anyone actually watch the interview??  I like ya Glenn, but saying Rick owned Charlie is just not true; I thought RIck looked kinda weak as he sat there and was forced to address the question he was trying to avoid the whole time.  Charlie really looked like he won this one clearly.  You can bet money that Cain, Gingrich, or Palin would of done much better.  Glenn I think you’re reaching on this one…

  • http://twitter.com/MatthewBJenkins Matthew Jenkins

Why? Because he is the gasp of the anti-Romney club? The best alternative to Mitt Romney is…Mitt Romney.  There is not a better alternative.  Look at his life and his record and go beyond the talking points and see for yourself. He is the one candidate remaining that was actually an executive (of business, the Olympics, and of a state) while the other three have just been legislators.  The last two presidents that were Senators before becoming president were JFK and President Barak Hussein Obama.  Read Romney’s book, No Apology, the Case for American Greatness, then read Santorum’s book and decide for yourself.  Although Rick is a good man, he does not have the experience of turning anything around.  He obviously talks a good talk and has been mostly conservative (can’t stomach his vote for industry killing BIG LABOR).  I would love to see him in a cabinet or as VP and would love to see Ron Paul as the Chairman of the Federal Reserve!

  • http://twitter.com/MatthewBJenkins Matthew Jenkins

Why did Chris Christie endorse Romney then ebsoberman?  Your comment had name calling, but no substance.  Romney is the ONLY candidate that Obama fears, evidenced by the amount of time and money spent attacking him and fighting him.  Santorum is the blank slate now that everyone is creating to be what they want in a candidate, but when people scrutinize his record and he actually has the media focused and tearing him apart, you will see him fade back into the pack where he has been the whole time for a good reason.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/VW5O7KGG6TKA5LXUQUGK76N6IY Sammi

Better interview then most — I thought both men made their points, even tho Charlie was trying to stick the comment of a supporter on Santorum — don’t think it stuck.  What ever happened to our sense of humor.

It seems that the GOP leadership is being told in no uncertain terms that the voters will NOT blindly accept the candidate they are told to accept – and the elites are starting to throw a tantrum.  Remember – the elites in the party gave us John McCain – how’d that work out?  Let us also not forget Rubio versus Crist… can you hear us now?  It’s time for the voters to tell the party who the “acceptable” candidate is…not the other way around.

Mr. Santorum hit the nail on the head – it is a double standard; gloves-off with anyone EXCEPT the pres. Any Media person that is aligned with the extreme Left/Liberal/Administration/Progressive/Socialist/Arab Bro-hood/Arab Socialism is walking in the dark or lurking in the shadows for a good, yummy, juicy piece of sintilating “gotcha” that they can’t see what’s happening around them, or have any forethought of the future?!

Does anyone one remember when Brokaw and Rose admitted that they didn’t know much about Obama http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzMas1bVidw.  Mr. Rose is all over Senator Santorum about what a supporter said, but not one word about what Reverend Wright preached in his church for 20 years – Obama’s mentor.

These two brilliant reporters sat around a table after Obama won discussing how they didn’t know who Obama was.  Please!  Why does anyone give Charlie Rose any credibility.  For that matter, anyone in the main stream media press.

I must live in “Bizarreville”. People on this Blog say “Romney is the right man for the job” OR “Santorum stands on his Beliefs” – Blah Blah Blah. With the NEW Projected Spending Deficit of $1.3 TRILLION which will ADD to the already $16 TRILLION National Debt; How in the World can anyone vote for any Candidate besides Ron Paul? You may not agree with everything on his Platform, but he’s the ONLY Candidate who has a REALISTIC APPROACH in dealing with the Debt and Government Spending. It’s quite obvious that Americans have been so “Dumbed-Down” that they have ZERO understanding of Economics. That’s too bad, because if “Actual” Spending Cuts aren’t implemented within the Budget as Ron Paul has said, then the Debt Ceiling will continue to have NO CEILING, no matter who is President.

RUFREE. I see you’re still buying-into the Right/Left Paradigm propagated by the Media to keep Americans Divided. OPEN YOUR EYES! The Country is swirling into the “Black Hole” of DEBT! If “Actual” Spending Cuts aren’t implemented to the Federal Budget ASAP, then you can “Kiss this Country Good-bye”. Ron Paul is the ONLY Candidate proposing “Actual” Spending Cuts to the Government. All the other Candidates are proposing Cuts to the PROJECTED “Rate of Growth” by cutting the PROJECTED PERCENTAGE RATE and then “calling” it a cut. That’s what “Politicians” say and do to appease John Q. Public. However, the National Deficit and the National Debt will always continue to GROW and GROW, while the Government continues to BORROW and BORROW, and the Debt Ceiling “Theatrical” Debates will continue to rage on and on, that is, until someone STOPS THIS MADNESS by implementing “Actual” Spending Cuts upon the Government and Government Borrowing ceases.

Santorum personally has reservations about contraception but as public policy supports contraception.  That is clear to all but the left who want to create a wedge issue.  But in contrast, Obama has more convenient reservations, e.g. about homosexuality, while as public policy he supports marriage as between a man and a women.  Why, Mr. Rose…who then is worse for the types of freedom that you aspire to: Santorum or Obama?  Oops, I guess it’s Obama who wants to impose his religious views on everyone!   The left wing public really must start to worry about the Left when that Left is in power–it is well on the road to serfdom, but it is the public who are turned into serfs, not the corporate-political-union axis.

  • Anonymous

One question sent my way last night was how would Santorum fix things? So during this mornings coffee discussion, I realized – truthfully, there’s not much anyone can do. General McArthor said it best at the end of WWII, “It must be of the Spirit if we are to save the flesh”

We make movies glorifying greed – sex – drug addiction ect – fast money and little effort to gain it. Unions run-a-muck, treasurers that spend our hard earned tax dollars on their ill-gained personal luxury homes and numerous exotic vacations each year.

Sex scandal’s are all too common place throughout our land – not just DC.

Over 2500 various religious affiliations all claiming to serve one God, but teaching 2500 different ways to do so.

Broken homes, having only one parent and lucky if their not on the public dole.

Escalating crime in our biggest cities spreading itself like wildfire into smaller towns and villages.

Computers – Texting – Cellphones, equals – lower test scores in schools and a dumbing down of future generations.

Politicians ignoring rouge nations who threaten to wipe us off the map – but instead and simultaneously, reduce our defense spending by over half. Rip the constitution to shreds and increase our national debt by multiple trillions.

I could go on as I’m certain you could easily add a laundry lists of things yourself. Frankly bjv – I don’t hold out much hope for the future of our nation – no matter who gains the Presidency – All I know is that I have nine beautiful grandchildren and it scares the living hell out of me what their future holds.

Forgive me for sounding off in such a way, but after thinking about the gentleman’s question I received last night, I quickly realized things are much more dire than even I realized. The Question – “How to fix it?” really should be replaced by – “Can we fix it?”" and that led me back to what the American general said on that old battleship as he addressed the world.

Idk why this reply was directed towards me, but oh well… Santorum is one of the most corrupt politicians out there… there is 4 people running for president on the republican side and you already believe that Rick Santorum is going to win and face Obama? The person that’s actually leading the race is Ron Paul, he has the most delegates. The vote is just for bragging rights, the delegates is what matters, so if you look at it correctly… Ron Paul won, Iowa, Maine, Nevada, Colorado, Minnesota, probably will win Missouri as well….. as long as more people stay in it, Santorum, Romney, and Gingrich will just dilute the primary delegates and Paul actually has one of the best chances to go to the convention in Tampa with the most delegates…. and if he doesn’t quite have enough he’ll still have a voice to change the platform or ask for a cabinet position were he can control things better….. face it Ron Paul has the GOP by the balls this year regardless and all of the neocons are panicking b/c it will be their last run in the party and the party will go back to what true conservatism really is

Absolutely not….and this is the reason. Our religious leaders have utterly failed in the teaching of sexual intercourse and marriage.

First, if our children were taught from their youth, that marriage is a direct copy  of a Godly relationship – that it represents Christ marrying his bride (the church – also known to him as a woman) – so its the highest relationship we humans can possibly experience (while yet in the flesh) part of what makes that relationship extra special, is sexual intercourse. Its purpose is to share with your lifelong partner, the highest affection that can be given by one human-being to another. Its a two way street. Of course there is the procreation aspect and the joy of seeing your offspring grow into responsible young adults with families of their own is also priceless.

Part of the reason I responded in this way – not that you didn’t know these things – but ya never know who may come along and read something that might spark a thought.

Notice how Rose starts by asking about the statement by Foster Friess.  When Santorum confronted Rose on the gotcha nature of this question, Rose says oh no, that wasn’t the issue.  We want to know your views.  Weasel words.

  • Anonymous

“Weasle words” hardly.  Rose merely asked “what did you say to him?” And also clearly stated “nobody said you were responsible for his words”.  So to me it sounds like Santourm is a little thin skinned. HE could have merely stated his differences btw him and one of his major donors.  Futhermore, Rose followed up those rather benign questions, with ACTUAL FACTS, about CONTROVERSIAL STATeMENTS THAT HE made about contraception and peoples’ sexual practices.  So let’s not act like this was gotcha politics.  There was some validity to the questions rose asked. All Santorum had to do was answer the questions, instead he whined about it.  People often say Obama has thin skin, and their might be some truth to that. But the clip above similarly shows that Santorum also can’t answer a set of questions without getting rattled.  Oh, yet again this shows how the tweetle dee and dumb up above cannot think outside the box.  WHile I don’t care much for Rose,  he hardly got owned in this clip.  He was pretty stern and admant, and actually quoted Santorum himself on some of the questionable things he said.  But notice, that Santorum did not SPECIFICALLY address the long quote Rose about him. Like a typical politican he heard the quote and proceeded to state his policy and record on a similar, yet different topic.

  • Anonymous

Because he like allot of other people think money can actually win an election. Romney is the one who has flip flopped and wont admit it. America deserves what it gets for voting for these politician and not for a leader. I never said Santorum didn’t have fault but he stands up for what he believes and doesn’t flip flop or back down. I’ve actually met the man and he is the most authentic of all the one I’ve met so far next to Newt, but Newt has too much baggage. Romney is just running to lose he wont win because he wont try to win just like McCain did. I sure hope I’m wrong, i just hope the true conservatives can hold the house at least for 5 more years and maybe the Senate because too many “Voters” have been bought off by the left and like their cushy jobs and benefits.

He’s concerned about the state of our Nation and wants to make changes for the good of the world and not just a select few of intellectual elitist who have A type personality control issues. Freedom means all have the same chance as everyone else, not fill out forms and hope they get approved so you have a future.

I have a problem that a pus**y like you claims to be a Marine.
Lie about what I said. I never said I was anti-Mormon, I said I was against Proxy Baptisms, which you ignored because you only want to start fight.
I have read dozens of your other posts on multiple sites…
All you do is start fight, surf the web for random bullsh** facts and talk down to people.
I couldn’t give a fu** what you think about what I say, because what I stated was the truth.

I do not just claim to be a Marine, I have the paperwork to back it up, he who claimed to be a submariner and did not know what a submarine was.

You did not have to say you were anti-Mormon, your own post proved it. So you take issue with Mormons practicing something that appears in the BIBLE?
    1 Corinthians 15:29

Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all, why are they then baptized for the dead?

Way to be a fake Christian (Catholic) and reject the teachings of Paul. So no, what you posted is not the truth.

faith.  One reason why people don’t want a man of integrity, he might stop the infanticide, abuse of government, and the blatant disregard for the constitution that this tyrant (Obama) has inacted.  Romney is a flip flopper, Gingrich is toast, Paul is even toastier and Rick stands tall having more dignity, humility and credibility than all the others combined.  Rick is the superior stand out.  But people who like to do their own thing are always afraid of a man of “principle.”  I’m sorry you libs might have to get a dictionary for that word!  Well, if the providence of God steps in…thank you Mr. President (Santorum).  I’m from the tri-state area (PA, NJ and DE).  Rick and Nancy are the real deal!

Talking about libs….. Check Santorums voting record.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

First off even if you thought some Ron Paul supporters are anit-semetic, Ron Paul can’t control who supports him. Dr. Paul was the ONLY one who voted to give sovereignty to Israel, when they wanted to bomb Iraq in 1981. Reagan was even against Israel on doing it, so that should tell you something about his stance on Israel. Your stance, much like other neoconservatives is that we should send endless amounts of money and troops (which Netanhayhu told the US congress not to do) to force them to be dependent on us, that way when we financially collapse, b/c neocon leftists don’t know how to quit spending, then Israel will be left on it’s own, while the whole middle east is built up with radical jihadist, b/c our foreign policy opened the door for them. As far as the Bible goes, YOU may think the good book holds the answer to our woes, BUT the Bible only works for Christians, just like the Constitution works for AMERICANS, which we all are and should all abide by. You can’t run a country on a religion, like Santorum wants to, that would be something like Iran has…. it’s called a theocracy. Being a Ron Paul supporter I will say this, I’m not telling you who to vote for this coming election, but I’d suggest you do your own research, and look at actual voting records, instead of listening to demagogues like Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh or anyone else. When you do that you’ll find that Santorum is more liberal than Mitt Romney. Now what I usually get is, “Ron Paul supporters are all like this, you bash everyone.. blah blah blah” but then nobody can bash Ron Paul, ever, because he has never voted on an unconservative piece of legislation.

”The United States government is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion.” President John Adams (Treaty of Tripoli)

  • Anonymous

Obviously you need a dictionary because Liberal is what the others (except Newt) are and Rick is not.  On all the moral issues, Infanticide (abortion without the euphemism), homosexuality (sin not life style), strong military…you get the picture?  Liberals have obfuscated the meanings to confuse the electorate.!

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

You can’t legislate morality, take a guess what Rick Santorum wants to do? You say he’s not a liberal, and 40 seconds into this video he tells you he voted for a bill to federally fund contraceptives, which means the money directly goes to the hospital, then the hospital can use it for whatever it wants; i.e. birth control, abortions… etc etc.. it’s an indictment of government run medicine, which is why the Obama contraceptive bill is in so much controversy, so in reality, Rick Santorum helped fund abortion (not to mention he let his own wife have one, shows you the hypocrisy of this guy)…. So let me break it down for you. What is abortion? A violent act. All violence is handled at the State level and that is the REAL solution to the problem, b/c if we allowed the states to write their laws, take away it’s jurisdiction by a majority vote in the congress, you’d repeal Row vs. Wade overnight, instead of waiting year after year to change the court systems… But then people who try to argue politics know nothing about actual political law and how to do it the right way… instead they just listen to the talking heads of the media. Would you like to tell me what else makes Santorum a liberal?????

The more controversial and difficult the problem, the more
it should be handled on a local level. Only Kings and Tyrants blanket a
    country with laws.

  • Anonymous

Mag, you hit the nail right on the head.  The libs are playing a game of misdirection.  The figure if they sling enough mud it will stick.  Obama is smart, he has got his people convoluting the meanings of words.  B. “The United States government is not in any sense founded on the
Christian Religion.” President John Adams (Treaty of Tripoli)   Any Questions?

Rick Santorum openly said he doesn’t believe in freedom, or the pursuit of happiness…. this is what distinguishes the US from all other countries… NOT the Bible, so take your bible verses to church with you. I am not religious at all, but I know the difference between right and wrong. You say immorality is why nations and kingdoms fall, but then you support a guy that gives funding to immoral things and worked as a lobbyist after his corruption in the Senate, why do you think NO Senator has endorsed him yet, b/c they know he is corrupt. Santorum has said that the government belongs in the bedrooms and the private life of people, that is a total non conservative theme.. Conservatives believe in SMALL government, something Santorum was and is not for, ever.

Here’s some other things that make Santorum NOT a conservative

Voted to raise the debt ceiling FIVE times.
    Voted TWICE for internet taxes.
    Voted against a flat tax.
Voted to increase taxes by 9.4 billion to pay for student loan spending.
Voted to increase spending on SOCIAL PROGRAMS (which includes planned parenthood) by 7 billlion.
Voted for 1 billion dollar bailout for steel industry.
Voted to give 18 billion dollars to the IMF!!!!
    Voted to raid Social Security.
Voted for funding and doubling the size of the Department of Education.
Voted to give 25 million dollars in foreign aid to North Korea.
Voted for federal funding for anti-gun programs in schools.
Voted against National Right To Work.
Voted for Mandatory Federal Child Care funding. (A Mandate)

But you think he’s a GREAT GOD SEND CANDIDATE, b/c he SAYS he’s against abortion… NEWSFLASH… if he was, he wouldn’t of voted to fund it!!!!!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

From the way it sounds you don’t want freedom, liberty, the constitution or anything the United States stands for….. you just want a Christian Theocracy, where the government forces Christianity on everyone of it’s citizens, by law… Sorry, but there is something in this country called freedom of religion.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

“The Egyptians, Babylonians, Medes, Persians, Greeks, Romans, etc, etc, etc; all have fallen as a result of immorality.”

None of them were a democracy nor were they a free nation.

The United States is historically the ONLY free nation, and the closest thing to falling, was the great depression, which was monetary based…. Guess what the biggest problem in the United States is???? The Deficit.

Keep electing neocon, George W. Bush clones and you’ll see what happens.

I honestly don’t care what you think.
I stated that I dislike the LDS churches decision to baptize people, after death, without prior consent or asking their family. You twist this so you can call me a Mormon hater. Why? Because this is your style. I have seen you attack dozens of other people in the same way.
    2. You once stated that there is no Bangor base in Washington. Again, this is bull sh**, but you don’t care. You did a simple internet search and discovered that multiple bases were merged into one, but since you never served you wouldn’t know that every specific small base takes pride in its individuality and doesn’t claim it is KNB. Like in Diego, where Point Loma is the Sub side…or in Guam where Big Navy is the surface side. You don’t care about the truth. You only care about looking superior.
    3. These are just a couple reasons you are pathetic. You don’t care about the people on the other side of your never ending attacks. I am not talking about me, because I had you figured within two or three messages. I am talking about the poor people who have to take your evil and never ending attacks.
    4. I am not going to bullsh** you with New Testament Scripture because you are not worth it. You deserve the Old Testament. You are an evil excuse for a human being. You would think that I would say that I hope you die soon, but I don’t. I want you to have to live through the most painful and untreatable disease on this earth. Then maybe, just maybe, you will find humility and/or salvation. If not…rot in Hell!!!

  • Anonymous

If you truly did not care, you would not have written such a long rant laced with cursing. But you keep trying to convince yourself of that lie, one day you might actually believe it.
    1. Because it is not the first time you have shown your hatred of Mormons. You also refuse to admit that the Bible contains a passage on baptizing the dead, 1 Corinthians 15:29.
    2. No moron that was you that tried to place the Bangor base in Maine, not me. Nice try though mtclayboy. You once claimed to not know what a SSBN was and now you are an submarine expert?
    3. You are pathetic because you have had SEVERAL screen names and can not keep your own lies straight.
    4. Thanks for displaying you are not a true Catholic or Christian with this one. You did a better job of describing yourself than you did me with this one. God has the power to condemn me to hell, you as a weak little failure of a man, failure as a Catholic, and all around failure as a human being have no power to decide my fate. How is that for truth?

  • Anonymous

    1. Because it is not the first time you have bashed Mormons. You also refuse to accept the fact that Paul advocated for baptizing the dead, right in the very Bible that the Catholic church was responsible for deciding which books got translated into English.

    2. No, that would be you on this sock puppet that said that tried to convince us that:a) Bangor was in Maine and b) You had no idea what a Boomer or SSBN was. Now you want us to thank that you are a submarine expert? Way to prove you are a failure and a lying sack of trash mtclayboy. You just outed yourself on all your lies to the contrary. What does your church say about that again?
    3. There are many more reasons that you are pathetic. You are right I do not care about those people, because like you they are lying. That is an issue between them and their God, not me. I just point it out to them. If you don;’t want to be one, then stop lying.

    4. What does you Padre think of the way you represent your church on the internet? Hypocritical much mtclayboy? You described yourself better than you did me. Way to go.

Sorry for answering it twice, there was a delay with the original post. But you needed t obe told that you are a lying sack of trash multiple times to understand it.

Ironic.  It’s Sunday Morning and as a rule, my tv is on mute. I know, I know, why is it on.  I happened to see I think what’s called Meet the Press with Bob Schieffer(sp?) who always strikes me as self important, cantankerous, and self righteous.  Anyway, Santorum is on – and frankly, lately, I ignore all politics.  I’m burnt out on this circus.  However, I find Santorum attractive because he isn’t the beloved choice of the GOP.  So, I listened for a few minutes.  Shieffer is asking Santurom about his stance on education/schools – Santorum has this huge grin – like he’s laughing inside (which may be why I turned up the volume) – and explains his stance on removing federal and state involvement in education/schools – saying it’s the only system that hasn’t been overhauled in decades and that the current school system isn’t working – that the government involvement is in favor of the schools rather than the students or parents.  At that point Shieffer (?) says what if parents can’t all home school .  Santorum replies instantly ‘Who said anything about home schooling?’  And then Bob defends the federal/state involvement in schools saying in small communities people can’t afford public schools which is why there is goverment involvement…It went downhill from there with Bob getting indignant and spluttering (Santorum was excellent by the way). I admire the way Santorum handled this and the way he handled the Charlie Rose interview.  I say go gettum.

You know what, there might be some truth to what you say. MANY in the media did not scrutinize Obama’s relationship to Rev. Wrigth and Bill Ayers, as say FOX news did. That’s a valid point.  At the same time, just as I don’t necessarilly think that Santorum is responsible for what everyone of his supporters say, neitther is Obama.  INdeed there is a double standard here, in fact their are two sets.  THe liberal media does not play by the same rules when interviewing conervative candidates, but yet FOx news, and other conservtive outlets like BEck don’t either.  At the same time, DEFLECTING a question, which by the way is what Santorum did, does not exuse the fact, nor explain why HE HIMSELF, made controversial statements about BIRTH CONTROL and PEOPLES” SEXUAL PRACTICES.  JUST LIKE PEOPLE ON FOX GRILLED OBAMA SUPPORTERS AND STAFF abotu his questionable past, why DO they fail to scrutinize SANTORUM And others (republicans) on thier own suspect relationships and or COMMENTS? ANswer me that.  TWO WRONGS DON”T MAKE A RIGHT, is my point.  SO it’s a wiesel move, for someone to ask me a question per say, and instead of me answering it, I Respond ” oh, well you didn’t scrutinize my nieghbors past in that similar manner, so now i’m not goiong to answer it.  That’s lame.  SO just call a spade a spade. Be mad and point out the double standard, as many of you on here claim, but then also point out that the questions did bear some merit and that Santorum, played it like any other politican, (both repulican and democrat for that matter), he ignored and rambled on about another issue.

Interesting, though Christ isn’t mentioned once in the Constitution. Freedom of religion is part of the 1st amendment  and you talk like the religion of this country is Christianity and nothing else. You support a guy who wants to push his beliefs onto other people through force, which is not something our founding fathers believed in, and which would totally contradict our revolution and Constitution. I’m sorry, but all men are created equal, regardless of whether they’re muslim, christian, buddhist, hindu, or whatever….. Santorum doesn’t believe that, and the fact that he wants to racially profile people who he thinks are terrorists and supports NDAA, shows you exactly what he thinks of freedom….. He doesn’t believe that anyone should have any.

Being a democracy has nothing to do with immorality. Magnustheos was clearly making a factual historical observation – that nations who decline below a certain standard of ethical behavior, suffer through civil breakdown. The reason ? No one cares for the common good of the whole. Everybody is in it for themselves and personal gain. Its the “Get” way of living, verses the “Give” and when the majority of a nations citizens are taking – such as the current state of affairs in the States, then national collapse is swift to follow. You yourself admit “the biggest problem with the United States is her (overburdening) Deficit”

This nation has gotten into the mess shes currently in, not because of “so called” – neocons like George Bush or Regan, but by spineless do-gooders  like  Jimmy the peanut farmer and Obama, the man born in Kenya, who legally doesn’t even have a right to be elected POTUS, especially with only having community organizational skills under his belt – or should I say “Turban” – Further, what were those organizational skills made up of – Marxist – Communist – and Socialist propaganda, to rally the hatred of traditional American values in his favor – thus, the promise of “fundamentally changing this nation” from it foundation to its core. When this little dirt-bag parading around as a Chicago Organizer is through with his remaking of America – just as Magnutheos brought up – we’ll be left smoldering in the dust exactly the same as the Egyptians – Babylonians – Medes – Persians – Greeks – Romans and for the same reasons – as a direct result of immorality brought on by weak governmental politicians not having the slightest clue or idea how to run a soda-shop let alone a Super-Power. You’ll wish we had a neocon representing our once great nation – after you’re buddy Obama is reelected and the tiny weak cowardly little nation of Iran, slips a nuclear bomb through our virtually unprotected US borders and lights it up.

Skipped directly over The Rev Wright..that was then this is now, Charlie trying to stay in control–no accountability had by the news media–they will determine who will be President and the plight/scandal within Media Matters on their influence directly to those around The POTUS is a good step to exposure–This anti-guns funded group who carry concealed weapons, packing everywhere the head of Media Matters will go–talk about paranoia or knowingly aware of the criminal level he must involve himself in like a mafia king pin–perhaps more protection from those this editor gets info from and who they really are, then protection of those on the Right who had his number long time ago as Media Matters came on line financed by Soros, and far Left wing groups trying to mimic  the format of NewsBusters/ Media Research.org but on the far far Left of distortion & lies which this President now promotes purposely confusing of facts to the “uneducated” voters who had no time for politics and only believe in “what they are entitled to”–their only interest coupled with Bad science which is fed them. The younger the better, that is why he hangs out at Community College as they have no life experiences on issues to compare to. But an insult to students at Community colleges who must work part time to attain an education and are much smarter than his Yale or Harvard elite buddies believe them to be. Then he floods the audience with plants of their own–how disingenuous.  We can no longer trust anything a politician says and must research for ourselves take the time to GOOGLE both sides of the scenario..read a bill once in a while, not have someone interpret for you, watch C-Span as boring as it can be, watch videos in the moment–YouTube is filled with speeches and addresses from every candidate..or u may just wind up like Greece, Italy, Spain..The little joke about “the aspirin” which people did laugh at as did the media “off camera” but then put their serious face on and found a way to shift focus on issues to..meaningless chatter which the media knows the naive voter or dimwit voter can only relate as people would start to yawn and be turning off their TVs out of boredom of economics, geopolitics etc.  The media’s ratings on the Alphabet Soup Networks have dwindled with the better journalists leaving for better pastures like Trapper, and other recent ex-pats away from the Old Main Stream Media. Staying behind is the Old News Pundits reading what is put in front of them each day–too old to move on, tired and holding on to whatever steady income they enjoy perhaps shaky at best. Dan Rather knows all about that ;)

Obama is the same as GW Bush. He’s just pushing Bush’s agenda that’s already there, he did absolutely nothing for this country, but bailouts for big corporations, like it’s been for the last 30 fuckin years. The only way to get rid of this is to open the free market and let the corrupt go bankrupt. The only reason the country is turning to immorality, is b/c the immoral are the ones that are monopolizing this country and turning it into fascism.

Both parties have people distracted by supid social issues that have nothing to do with the economy.

And your solution is to pray the deficit away. I’m sorry, but you can do all the praying you want before you go to bed, and when you wake up the deficit is still going to be there. People on here need to wake up and learn something about economics, the free market, the business cycle, the monetary system, and history of presidents and laws. @facebook-1185213281:disqus  My goodness you and that magnus really don’t see eye to eye at all.  I have to say this.  The majority of the people approach a debate with their minds already made up.  That is not a very scientific approach at finding truth,  Now I know there is subconscious bias (that’s why in science we do double blind studies).  A comment to what you said to that mag guy.  It is true that the reason for the fall of kingdoms is always based in a breakdown in government that started with that slippery slope of immorality.  What did you tell him, that you were not religious, but can distinguish between right or wrong.  You may not be aware because it is a subconscious thing, but whether we are religious or not we can trace our morality back to the judeo-christian ethic.  To argue different is to kid yourself.  I watch debates on TV between the Christians and the atheists (I think it is on the NRB channel).  I was listening very intently — as a matter of fact I have been watching for years because it is enlightening.  One thing in particular where the religious debaters get the best of the atheists is on this one issue.  If there is no God then morality is arbitrary.  The best the atheists can come up with is if it doesn’t hurt anyone else then it is moral.  That appears to me to be a very obscure and weak definition for the establishment of morality because it lacks a foundation.  Like the parable of the house that was built upon the sand and the one built on bed rock.  even evolutionary biologists understand that religion evolved as a survival mechanism — so in a way that mag is right.  If it serves a survival purpose than it would make sense that a departure from religious based morality leads to the extinction in a sense of the nation and kingdoms that disregard this evolved trait.  I think Richard Dawkins alludes to this and then ends up contradicting himself ( I have read all his books as well as the evolutionary science philosopher Daniel Dennett) as know doubt anyone can see that he wants to get rid of the concept of God at all cost.  This is more than obvious in “The God Delusion.” He has sent me DVDs and it is quite apparent that he is angry and in his anger is is trying to make atheist converts.  It is funny and sort of hypocritical because he had said bye bye to science and was practicing the same thing that religions practice, replication via conversion.  Its like a religion of anti religion, I find it quite curious.  Dennett, the erudite philosopher of evolutionary biology makes the same departure  (“Breaking The Spell”) which is not as severe and without Dawkin’s messianic-like zeal.

As far as the candidates.  Who in the world is perfect.  Who out there is more conservative than Santorum?  I hear my liberal friends calling him hyper conservative.  So it seems that people are seeing what they want to see, according to their preexisting biases.  It seems to me that we find more out about a greenhorn after they become president (this should be obvious).  Statistics indicate that if Obama, in the G E will lose by three percent if the election were held today irregardless as to who wins the republican nomination, as he has dropped to the republicans in every single culturally related demographic according to the most recent Pew Poll.  That is what I want, a man that will replace Obama.

Finally, I hear folks say that Paul is their conservative.  I don’t get that because he is worse than Obama on all the social issues.  Can you legislate morality?  Yes, but not all.  Nevertheless we legislate against murder and thievery don’t we?  And what happens if you lie in court (I know that is a public venue) isn’t morality legislated against however?  I read what you said about quoting the Bible so I will merely give you a verse reference,  Romans 13:1-6 indicates that morality can be legislated.  No you can’t legislate private matters, but in the older days and even today, there are laws on the books regarding certain sexual practices between married couples.  This legislation was intended for taking down egregious criminals while they were waiting for more substantial evidence.  I know that is arcane, nevertheless true.  These laws are probably all amended by now, not entirely sure, certainly they are not practiced, at least I hope they are not.   Yes, you cannot legislate against private matters, but how can one justify civil unions between same-sexed couples.  That is the other side of the coin.  Folks are going to get to the point where they will withhold their taxes if this King George Style of government continues.  And, Rick Santorum as well as fundamentalist Christians do not want a theocracy.  Mag is write about slinging enough mud and some will stick.  You need to do a little research as to what they believe.  The last thing evangelicals want is a theocracy.  That is a lie proffered by those who want to engage in that “do your own thing-hang-five mentality”.

I stand behing Sen. Rick Santorum’s stance on birth control.  I find it quite amazing that celibacy is look down on and has somehow become demonized as an option in this country. This is reflective of this world’s rule; “If it feels good, do it”. That is perfectly in line with Satanic teaching of; “do what thou wilt”. This Country is in desparate need of RESTORATION, a return to Bible based teachings & principles. We have fallen so far sa fast, but the good news is we can turn it around before it is too late.  There is no perfect canidate out there, but we need someone who is going to atleast turn this ship around, not just swerve a little because we are speeding straight towards a cliff and there will be no survivors.

Although Bush cannot be considered a staunch conservative by any stretch of the meaning. What he did accomplish, by going into Iraq (even though 25 years to late) was put out the word – “DON”T MESS WITH US!!!!!” and Libya – Syria – and even the backward nation of Iran backed off their pushy politics, having second thoughts about what lies ahead in their near future. Like good little children – scarred of retribution, they played nice – that is, until the Democratic liberal voices in the US congress and Senate raised their collective socialist voice, giving sympathy  to American sworn enemies the green-light was on for these Mid-East rouge nations to rev-up the engines of hatred and terror has been commonplace around the globe ever since. Bush couldn’t win. He fought a two front war, one with backward minded towel-heads in the middle east and the other with mindless spoiled brats living under the false allusion in their perfect make believe world of milk and honey – scratch that – Gold and Silver fits much better and that If America asks them to be nice (these long known enemies of ours) will simply lay down their arms.

You are right Mr. Stull, my solution is to pray the deficit away – but that’s not how I word my conversation with God Almighty – it goes more like this – Please God save America by removing this President from office, that we as a nation might gain our sinces back and do what is right and just and that you might spare us our collapse

What is it about Christ ianity that does not refer to Jesus Christ?   It’s a given.
Santorum’s little girl Bella wasn’t aborted when they found out about her disease, why do you suppose that is?   Yeah, Rick believes in abortion.  Another myth propagated by the likes of you.

Whom do you think Thomas Jefferson was talking about when he stated this?:

“Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God?  That they are not to be violated but with His wrath?  Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.”
CR: Notes on the State of Virginia, 1781

You have no basis for your attack on a man of faith, regardless of his voting record;   his constituents in Penn., and a liberal state, decided Santorum was too conservative for another term.

I’ll debunk this easy. If Christianity is the end all of moral religions, why do we have the freedom to practice whichever religion we choose??? Why do we have the Bill of Rights, instead of the 10 commandments???

SANTORUM OPENLY SAID HE DOESN’T BELIEVE IN FREEDOM OR THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.

We legislate against murder and theivery, yes… At a state level! Not a federal level. What’s good for one person isn’t always good for another. The religious wing is the one always pushing there beliefs on everyone else. I wouldn’t say this, if they didn’t do it through FORCE. Something our founding fathers didn’t believe the federal government should have power over (in fact they were very clear in what they had power to do), morality through force. Santorum is the one that wants to create FEDERAL legislation against all the social issues that are against HIS beliefs…. Therefore forcing his beliefs on us as a nation.

Look to who you associate with and who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are.   Obama believes everything  those associated with him;  they are his sentiments as well.    He has pretty much told us all what he believes in by his actions.    Social justice-what exactly do you suppose this commuinst mind set means to Obama if not communism?   Is that what inspires you to defend his actions and his view for America?

It isn’t as much of what he says, but what he does that Americans find offensive.    Say what you may;    I have friends and relatives who are holocust surveyors that remember how the Nazis gained power in Germany;  a recurring nightmare re-visited!

Maybe I can add something to your inquisitive mind. In the bible, one of the first things people should read – IS NOT the “ten commandments” but where God himself, tells anyone willing to listen, that “the whole world is deceived” not only the atheists, but obviously, those who conform to religion (all religion) – no matter what they call themselves! Deceived means exactly what it says, and when it comes out of Gods mouth, we better think long and hard before simply discarding it as something unimportant. He (God) also says – there is a devil and he’s full of evil, and it is this devil who is the – “god”of this world – doesn’t say much for long established religious organizations now does it?

America is a nation boasting the freedom of Religion – even God helped create the idea – and WHY? Because as stated above – the whole world is confused and no, not one, has it right – only God had it right and from the humble beginnings of this frail nation – God revised his tiny persecuted church. So you might say, through that tiny church, God has given mankind a way out of religious confusion and a way to learn what real living standards really are and then, how to do them. The American constitution was based primarily on the commandments of God and the bill of rights from his righteous statutes.

If you believe that Santorum doesn’t believe in freedom or the pursuit of happiness, then we may as well end this conversation right now – even though you want to believe foolishness, its a far cry from rational debate and spewing such garbage shows your naivety.

We Do – legislate Murder and Thievery on a Federal level -  Murder an FBI agent and see what happens – try stealing the Gold out of Fort Knox then “call me” – and let me know how your none prison sentence is working for ya.

Santorum doesn’t want to force his beliefs on anyone – To get back to what this nation was when it was founded – different story – “We the People under God……” remember those words ….?

  • Anonymous

“SANTORUM OPENLY SAID HE DOESN’T BELIEVE IN FREEDOM OR THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS”.  Even liberal MSNBC wouldn’t say that Santorum doesn’t believe in freedom nor is he against the pursuit of happiness.  You have debunked your own credibility when you make statements like that. Your incessant protestation regarding morality is revealing to all who read. I need to comment no further. I’m too busy to waste my time on prevaricators; I’m too busy too explain to you the rules of logic; You don’t even posses a modicum of common sense.

No FBI agents would get murdered if they didn’t stick there nose into business where it didn’t belong. That’s a primary example of Big Government and Big Business taking your tax dollars. People of this country pay for Federal Police, in which State Police can take care of the same matters. That’s called a waste of money. The War on Drugs is the biggest example of that, but I wouldn’t doubt a person like you would think of Richard Nixon as a great moral person, since he is the one that started “The War on Drugs”. Check and see what Abraham Lincoln said about prohibition, once, and educate yourself.

As far as Rick Santorum and what he’s said about freedom and the pursuit of happiness…. listen… from his own words.

The difference between the two parties is – Republicans believe in a higher Being therefore, use the bible and its ethical code found within to make sound rational decisions.
Democrats throw out the bible and turn instead, to histories by-gone and failed governmental systems – such as Socialism – Communism – ect  in-which these forms of government were always overthrown by a disgruntled and restless population that wanted a better more equitable form of government.

We must remember – men are not perfect, not in any political system – but those who allow themselves to be led by the morals of God, make much better leaders and the citizen they rule over is far more happy and content.

It boils down to two ways of doing things – Giving and Getting or put another way – Honesty and Dishonesty

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

And yeah, I think you mean ” One nation under God…” (and by the way it wasn’t until the 1950′s when they decided to put “God” into the pledge of allegiance) It doesn’t say “One nation under Jesus Christ” or “One nation under Muhammed” or “One nation under Buddha” does it…. so I don’t get how your linking Christianity to it.

“Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the Republican Party, and they’re sure trying to do so, it’s going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can’t and won’t compromise. I know, I’ve tried to deal with them.”~ Barry Goldwater

No, what I clearly said in an earlier post was Bush cannot be considered “conservative” because he wasn’t. Anybody who bases his living standards on God laws though, as does Bush, tries to do what is best for everyone under his rule and that can’t be all bad – thus – “no child left behind”  sounded good at first – unfortunately, it made things worse in the end and gov. bureaucracy fast outpaced commonsense and that plan didn’t work. When wars are fought – increased defense spending is a necessary evil, but if it means giving soldiers everything they need for victory – in the end, it’s money well spent. If it keeps America strong and gives us a healthy does of respect around the world whats your beef? Or is the Ron Paul / Obama “hide your head in the sand” tactic something you favor – and when bombs start exploding across our nation – you’ll wish then, that you were, as you call it – “more neocon”. Obama on the other hand, already has his war record and its one of illegal wars and running home with his tail between his legs, surrendering everything our troops fought and died for. Now we’ve lost any respect that was hard gained by Bush, oh and  we also lost our base in Iraq.

No it doesn’t mean you are evil. It means you’re deceiving yourself – because the bible says we must live by every word of God – the entire bible (old and new testaments) is that whole word. So saying you don’t believe everything in it – speaks for itself and shows you do not believe in God the way He says we must..

I understand what you’re saying about phony religions – the world is full of ‘em. God said that the whole world is deceived – that includes religion – its true – so you may be further along in knowledge then many professing “so called christians” because of that realization.

All I’m saying is how this world came to know right from wrong was from God in the first place. The problem is, the further a people get away from God the less they care about the two words and seek out what is pleasurable to them, rather if it harms others or not or if it breaks any law.- Therefore we cannot live in a nation where individuals are free to interpret the law anyway they desire. That’s called anarchy and civil breakdown (as in modern America) soon follows on its heels.

I agree with Goldwater….men do not understand God, nor do they understand what they term as religion – and I don’t want something forced on me,or my children or anyone else, especially something that can easily be proven false. It’s a fine line and where do we (as a nation) draw a compromise – but throwing out morals and ethics, or the name of God himself from out of our collective nationality is a direct road to our own destruction.

Why were we in Iraq again??? We were attacked by the Saudis on 9/11. That was the only attack at that time. There have only been more attacks AFTER 9/11, and that’s from retaliation. The CIA overthrew the Shah in 1953, and killed thousands of innocent iranians, so we could invest in BP with the British. The CIA even said we would have blowback from that, that’s what the attack in 1979 was from and the attack on 9/11.

Iran doesn’t even have an Air Force that can fly over here, how are bombs suppose to drop on us???

Seriously. let’s have a conversation about the topic at hand. Of course there is always macro-implications to almost any conversation. But my rebuke is about the very narrwow focus of this debate. The website incorrectly posits this idea that somehow Santorum got the best of Rose, when that clearly was not the case. Rose never accused Rick of anything, just asked to put things into a broader context. Rick, convienently deflected the question, and turned it around and brought up obama. Okay, yes, we can debate obama, and some of his questionable relations if you like, but that was not the issue at hand. Notice you don’t address my valid points that I meantioned in previous posts, instead you try to bring up my political preference as though that has any bearing in this manner. I am not champioing Obama, or talking about progressive politics, or even denigrating REpublicans as whole. I am merely juding this story on its own merits, based up on the conversation by rose and Santorum and also the lack of a thouough evaluation by Beck’s lap dogs. Oh , and yes they are lap dogs. bc they can’t think for themselves, they just regugitate whatever beck has to say. So stick to the topic at hand.

It may seem that way…and for this current day and age…you are right, but the marvelous thing about the human brain is our capacity to remember, when Mr. Stull’s world falls apart around him and he can no longer blame the Bush family for all the woes in America, then …and only then, will any of this matter. Sure it will take a while to regain what was talked about, because first he’ll have to admit his error, and the hardest thing for any of us humans I think, is to admit when we are wrong about something…eating crow is never tasty.

History 101…the ancient nation of Israel was led by God…really…at night he could be seen as a flame of fire, during the day he was seen as a towering cloud. Things were running smoothly —-until—-the nation wanted to be like the surrounding nations and have a human king rule over them. God granted them their request and from that day till this – no nation has even come close to having peace. Men do not understand the complexities of what it takes to solve our problems…science has not given us all that was promised. Although it has taught us how to kill each other w/the precision of a pinhead – That’s what the bible teaches…until we get that through our heads no nation will ever have peace. God must be forefront in our lives especially those who rule over us.

I’m not blaming the Bush family… I swear you listen to nothing of what I say and only preach to me. Here’s the difference between me and you..,,

You want a federal government legislated to your beliefs, b/c it benefits YOU. You want the government to help you get your beliefs forced on others through laws, that’s why your voting for Santorum, b/c that’s what he wants to do… Federal legislation on abortion, federal legislation against same sex marriage, b/c you think this will change the morality of people.

I want the federal government legislated the way our forefathers wrote it up. And yes that does mean the word “God” stays in. Abortion is a state issue as well as same sex marriage. It’s easier to repeal through a state majority decision than it is to take it to the  supreme court justices, anyway, which means you would repeal Row vs Wade overnight, I don’t get what you don’t get about that. It’s like you just want a constant fight on abortion and want no solution to the problem. And marriage wasn’t suppose to be handled by the government in the first place…. that should be left up to the religious organizations or churches.

The reason I won’t vote for Santorum is b/c he offers nothing to keep us from collapsing financially. His voting record is liberal. He is not a fiscal conservative. I don’t believe in abortion, and the fact that he helped fund planned parenthood, there is no way I will vote for him, b/c with all his preaching of his beliefs against abortion…. he has show that he is a lying hypocrite, and someone that is far from to be trusted. I also don’t believe the government should be in our private lifes, unlike Santorum. I also believe in the pursuit of happiness, unlike Santorum. I don’t like him b/c he says the economy is the way it is, b/c of a lack of responsibility by the people, when he votes to help fund a lack of responsibility for increased spending in social programs. The guy is a snake in the grass.

Charles Krauthammer wrote a great article today;  here’s an excerpt:

First, its assault on the free exercise of religion. Only churches themselves are left alone. Beyond the churchyard gate, religious autonomy disappears. Every other religious institution must bow to the state because, by this administration’s regulatory definition, church schools, hospitals and charities are not “religious,” and thus have no right to the free exercise of religion – no protection from being forced into doctrinal violations commanded by the state.
Second, its assault on free enterprise. To solve his own political problem, the president presumes to order a private company to enter into a contract for the provision of certain services – all of which are free. And yet, this breathtaking arrogation of power is simply the logical extension of Washington’s takeover of the private system of medical care – a system Obama farcically pretends to be maintaining.
Under Obamacare, the state treats private insurers the way it does government-regulated monopolies and utilities. It determines everything of importance. Insurers, by definition, set premiums according to risk. Not anymore. The risk ratios (for age, gender, smoking, etc.) are decreed by Washington. This is nationalization in all but name. The insurer is turned into a middleman, subject to state control – and presidential whim.
Third, the assault on individual autonomy. Every citizen without insurance is ordered to buy it, again under penalty of law. This so-called individual mandate is now before the Supreme Court – because never before has the already inflated Commerce Clause been used to compel a citizen to enter into a private contract with a private company by mere fact of his existence.
This constitutional trifecta – the state invading the autonomy of religious institutions, private companies and the individual citizen – should not surprise. It is what happens when the state takes over one-sixth of the economy.
In 2010, when all this lay hazily in the future, the sheer arrogance of Obamacare energized a popular resistance powerful enough to deliver an electoral shellacking to Obama. Yet two years later, as the consequences of that overreach materialize before our eyes, the issue is fading. This constitutes a huge failing of the opposition party whose responsibility it is to make the opposition argument.
Every presidential challenger says he will repeal Obamacare on Day One. Well, yes. But is any of them making the case for why?

Now I’m late for dinner, but I’ll answer this last post…I have listened to every word you have spoken, I simply disagree with almost everything you say. What gets me about the Liberal minded citizen, is that every time the name of God is mentioned what so ever…there being “preached to” I’m not buying that anymore and I won’t back away from  talking about the things that need be talked about.

Truthfully my beliefs would benefit the entire world (someday they will, but that’s a different subject all together) I’m saying nothing about my personal beliefs nor is Rick Santorum. What is needed in our nation is for our government officials to get their heads out of their asses and do what they came to DC for in the first place. Funny thing is, no matter who it is, the lure of fast cash and fame seems to outweigh all rational thought and the ever present DC trance glosses over their face’s. What happened to accountability, what happened to honesty and outstanding moral behavior. Character has slid to the wayside in this nation and we’re now paying a heavy price.

Do we travel down the path another four years w’Obama and his socialist agenda? Or do we try and recapture what our founders created so long ago, when they said the surest way for our American experiment to work is, that each and everyone of its citizens should police themselves using high ethical and moral standards…and believe me….our forefathers knew where to go to find what the standards were.

    First, it’s a mandate…. period.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

It’s not when you mention “God.” It’s when you mention BIBLE. And when you actually preach from the BIBLE.  Every religion believes in a God… not every religion has the same doctrine… and that goes for different sects of Christians.. Lutherans, Jehovah Witness, Mormons, Protestants, Catholics…

You want to change the constitution by enforcing federal legislation aka laws, that are like the Christian religion.

You put the BIBLE above the governing body of the United States (the constitution) this is what Barry Goldwater is talking about… and this is why there is simply no compromise with people like you.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

And please one of you finally answer me this question…. Why are you people supporting someone, with one of the most liberal and dishonest voting records??????

As it should be – the bible should be the American Governments handbook. No and’s, if’s, or but’s, about it.

This nation, above any other nation on earth, has had enough time now to come together as civilized human beings and prove once and for all, who’s God is the right God. Instead, each and every year an even newer stranger religion pops up, making the task that much more difficult. Thus, the devil and how he manipulates the minds of men using the tactic of confusion. More wars have been waged in the name of religion then any other factor. Thats what you liberals do not understand – most do not bilieve in a higher being to begin with, and even fewer believe in the existance of the devil. This later being, a persuader of minds and unbenounced to our unbeliving liberal friends he sways their minds much easier then those who try to follow righteous principles. Without those Godly standards constantly in the forefront of our minds – we become easy pick -ins  Especially our political leaders

You’ll have to ask someone else that question. What I like about the man is that he realizes the threat of Iran having a nuclear warhead is. Everything else is secondary to me …hell…if we have survived Obama 4/yrs, we could put Donald Duck in office for everything and anything else…..First things first. If we do not neutralize – one way or another, the threat hanging over this nation, posed by Iran – it won’t matter if Einstein returned back from the dead and brought this nation to heights never witnessed economically if only one nuclear bomb gets through…..period.

The Constitution is the governments handbook, the bible should never be. Once again this would contradict the individual rights of citizens who are not Christians, or the 1st amendment right to freedom of religion, b/c you state you’re against every other religion, unless it’s Christianity, which means the Christian religion would then become the religion of the United States, making the United States no longer a free nation, but a theocracy, sorry, but that’s not how it’s suppose to be.

We need to leave the middle east alone. Iran poses NO threat to the US, they’re one of the poorest military nations in the world, they can’t even make enough gasoline for themselves to fly a plane over our country… ITS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM TO INVADE US OR DROP A BOMB ON US.. RETARD!!!!!

You say that religion is the main cause of war, and it’s people like you that drive us into forever ending wars that leave us financially hurt. Palenstine and Israel have been at war for 1000s of years, nothing will ever change. We need to take a word from George Washingtons farewell address and stay out of entangling alliances… But that will never happen, b/c we have people out there like you that think we need to push a global agenda to get rid of all muslims, hindus, budhist, agonstics, atheists etc etc and the whole world needs to be Christians. You my friend are no different than the radical jihadists in my book, you want to keep killing muslims, until they get the point.

Simply wishing away the danger Iran poses, not only to us, but the entire globe, will not make us any safer. On the other hand, totally ignoring the threat, risks the survival of our great nation. I’d rather error on the side of military strength, than would I for weakness, as the giant mushroom cloud blossoms to  reality in my own backyard. The problem with you libs you always think ya got it all figured out. Lets say you are completely wrong (which you are) and a nuke does get through and it does blowup in your backyard – of course you are now nothing more then a pile of ash and as usual, you won’t have to answer for your childish decision of not taking action when you should have. To you, its a win win situation – but the reality is – we’re all dead, even those not directly effected by the blast will now witness their nation crumble apart because widespread looting and chaos.Remember the tiny hurricane in the Golf a few years ago? How about 9/11? those two events would be considered small compared to a nuclear attack and America would probably never recover.

As far as the constitution being the governments handbook, do some research, it was largely written based on the content of the bible.

I am tiered of having non-believing atheists – interfere with rights of unborn children. With allowing unnatural and perverted lifestyles to denigrate this blessed land. The list goes on, its always the God fearing population that has to back off and hear the hateful comments lofted by others verses the other way around. Then when the conservatives do speak up for themselves, we are branded as bible-thumpers when its the other way around – your liberal left are bible bashers and want nothing to do with the authority found inside – it cramps you “open” lifestyles and if you remove the bible which condemns your lude behavior, you wont have to feel guilty for your degenerate living. No God – No guilt….its as simple as that.
Your lack of biblical understanding makes all other knowledge you posses absolutely worthless – that’s what this nation used to have was – simple basic knowledge and understanding taught to us by the principles of God. Our land no longer cares about basic knowledge, therefore, we error in broad daylight as if it were midnight. All knowledge void of Godly knowledge, is dead knowledge, because that’s where the individual ends up – 6ft. under.

You are flat out wrong – again you show your lack of biblical understanding. I will agree – better to kill them first before they kill you. But that equation is not the way it was supposed to work and if we had (or if we were ever to start) lived according to the righteous laws of God and allowed him to lead us for once – there would be no loosing any battle, let alone a war. We would be blessed far beyond any other nation (as we were in our humble beginnings- because of God fearing leaders – like George Washington – Lincoln ect) then what would be the result – how would God solve the massive religious confusion of the ever growing denominations? He would do it using us as the example – they (other nations) would see how we – apart from all other nations, are blessed with a land of milk and honey and at the same time, they are squandering their lives away the same as they have done for thousands of years. Sooner or later they would ask the question – “what is it the Americans are doing – that we aren’t?” and they of their own free-will and violation would ask us for our direction and guidance. They would willingly lay down their arms because there would be no need for conflict. We would continue to gain Allies and not Foes. That is why religion, and that is the only way to achieve long-lasting peace.

You libs of course think the above only wishful thinking
and burring your heads in the sand is much easier.

God bless you RUFREE this truly brought tears to my eyes, not because I didn’t know about the subjects of abortion or the holocaust, but because of the dismal lack of knowledge our young people have.

As you are well aware, throughout the day today, I went back and forth with a gentleman discussing the very issue of the common basic knowledge our forefathers  possessed. Without it, all other knowledge is worthless. The principles laid out before each and every human-being are there for the taking, but as this sad presentation of our growing liberal generation shows, the conservative voice is right. By lifting up our voice we may change people (if only one) to do what is good and just and right.

He showed that you come to spread your version of hate and bigotry and some people like SoThere stand up to you.

I’ve read your lies that you posted. They were in your own words.

He counters your evil with the truth and backs up his words with your very own posts.

    Too bad, you lose.

You can call your hatred for Glenn Beck anything you want but it doesn’t change what it is.

The fact that you hide behind your talking points and lies speaks volumes about what a liar you are.

Not that this post has anything to do with me, but puzzles have always…well – puzzled me! So I’ll risk a guess just because….does the name Demps…have anything to do with your identity? Not that it matters…its good to know we have friends in this dark world growing with hatred and cynicism.

Apparently you didn’t watch the videos. He said he doesn’t believe in the pursuit of happiness, b/c people need to be responsible for their family. What about me, I’m single, and my family is just fine, does that mean I can’t pursue happiness? So does that mean the people that are responsible, can’t pursue happiness either?

In the Fox video he was speaking over the words. He said he’s against the Libertarians, that he doesn’t agree with the fact that they want their privacy rights, b/c he wants the government to be in the bedroom of the people, he said he doesn’t believe in low taxes and low regulations… etc etc etc.. That’s not how traditional conservatives view the world… HIS EXACT WORDS.

Zerogon didn’t school me, he just proved how antiAmerican he really is, just like you. You are the people that openly state that you can legislate morality. I’m sorry, but you can’t, you can make all the drug laws you want to… people will still do drugs. You can make all the abortions illegal if you want to… people will still abort their babies. You can make all same sex marriage illegal… people will still be gay…. YOU’RE THE ONE THAT DOESN”T GET IT.

As for Zeregon, I asked him why he supports and will vote for Santorum, who factually has the most Liberal voting record out of all of them, and he said he doesn’t care, b/c he’ll bomb Iran…. and then he goes on to say we need to show other religions who the true god is….. Meaning he believes his god is better than others. People like you are what give christians a bad name.

Btw, if the Constitution is built from the Bible like you say… Then all one has to do is listen to the Constitution, the Bible is really unnecessary. What the neo con, Christian right, former liberals from the 60s want is the constitution replaced with the Bible, making our country a theocracy. You guys also want a global empire, pushed with militarism, somewhat of what Hitler wanted. Sorry to tell you guys, but military force to push an agenda is a way of the past, countries now destroy other countries through economic force/war…. Look at what China is doing to us. They don’t need to bomb us, they’ll just force us to collapse and then we’ll kill ourselves. The Soviet Union did the same thing we are doing when they collapsed, they spread their military too thin around the world and they couldn’t afford it, so my theories of why we are in the state that we are, are based off actual FACTS.. yours are based off rhetoric.

Rick Santorum is NOT a small government or fiscal conservative.  He
backed Bush’s big spending and is part of the reason we are in the mess
we are in today!  His ideas on how far the government should be allowed
to intrude into our personal lives is frightening!

The problem with people like you, is more often then not, you read between the lines of what people are actually saying, adding your own interpretation(s) along the way, which by the way, becomes the absolute unadulterated truth to you, and no other thought has the slightest room to enter your limited mind, or the small liberal world that you have confined yourself in.

So ZEROGON is anti-American? Well I guess that makes me anti-Jewish too, because I find it utterly sickening and repulsive what happened to their population as the second world war raged on. Six million dead and for what? All because someone like yourself, didn’t like what God they followed and now, I see you’ve compared me to the likes of Adolph Hitler. So you prove me right – again – twisting words to fit your argument.

Its not the conservatives (neocons as you incorrectly claim them to be) who are doing to Americas future generations, what Hitler had done over 70 years ago to the Jews. This modern American holocaust cannot be blamed on Hitler, as you so cleverly try to imply, no, this blood is on your hands. It has always disturbed me about the how silent our population has become, at least those who do the killing, they must have no conscience or morals – because if morals were involved – the guilt of ones own evil actions should play a part in his/her act of murder, but there is none – just dead silence – WHY, especially when its the Liberals who become so overly angry when we conservatives say, the liberals have lost touch with reality and have tossed morals and ethics out the window of an out of control locomotive roaring down the path of its own destruction. You can’t have it both ways and the pathetic liberal spin no longer works. You either have morals or you don’t and the only place they can be found is in the Holy Bible. You have stated that you believe in a higher-being – “but”, you are quick to add…”don’t mention the bible”….that is childish at best and ludicrous in all actuality and reality. Nothing can be known of of this “higher-being” as you call him, without first looking into HIS WRITTEN WORD, for it “is” God in print, without the priceless knowledge from within, the human mind is void and empty of all relative understanding and wisdom.

Again – TWISTING WORDS AND THEIR MEANING….the conservatives are un-American, you say, because we are worried that money from illegal drugs continue to be funneled to outlaw gangs and terror organizations around the world, who openly oppose sovereign governments. Not to mention the addictive effects and huge cost to the hard working tax payers of America alone.Liberals have morals because they feel the need to parade through the streets naked – in full view of miner children and against their parents wishes, because its their right of free expression in America, setting the degenerate act of public nudity aside, where is the consideration for others, who vehemently disagree with their Godless unethical behavior? BUT SOMEHOW CONSERVATIVES DON’T GET IT….the square peg isn’t fitting the round hole….and your actions are screaming much louder then your twisted words….sorry – but I’m calling you what you are Mr. Stull, you are a liar and the truth is no where to be found in you. You think of yourself to be educated and wise beyond your years but – reality says – you are a fool.

Hopefully, I’ll know soon whom I will vote for in Nov.     The suspence is putting a wedge between frustrated Americans that normally would not engage in negative debate.   Isn’t that the aim of the left;  wanting a divide amongst us all?
    1.  understand and accept your guy may not be the nominee
    2.  support your party….understand there are only two
    4.  be true to your principles and convictions
    5   vote righteously
    6.  love your country
    7.  and for God’s sake, don’t be angry with the outcome

If the outcome isn’t in the best interest of all Americans, then prayer by all is in order;  because if Obama gets 4 more years, we are doomed.

The idea that we’d be mining tritium from the moon is ludicrous, loony even. Cold fusion is still decades away, and without even being able to resupply the ISS without paying Russia for rides into space, NASA is nowhere near being able to do this.

And before you say something referring to the leaps made in exploration in the ’60s, consider that at that time the people were behind the space program. Now, many people feel it is a waste of money that could be spent on, gee, I dunno, maybe servicing our imaginary debt (not necessarily my personal belief, but a fact of public opinion nonetheless.)

You have no answers for facts that I give you… all that comes out of your mouth is rhetoric.

You believe that your conservative b/c your a christian… sorry it takes a  lot more than being christian to be a conservative.

I understand that you have a right to your religion, b/c it’s in the 1st amendment and I have no problem with you, b/c you’re a “bible thumper” just give me real facts as to why these candidates are good and not just b/c they are a christian. If you can’t do that then there’s no reason for me to believe you, b/c all you’re giving me is rhetoric that I don’t believe in.

Money from illegal drugs wouldn’t continue to be funneled to outlaw gangs, if it was REGULATED like alcohol is. Do you remember the prohibition on alcohol??? Do you know why there is no longer prohibition on alcohol??? B/c the gangs, (Al Capone, Bugsy Malone etc etc) were getting money funneled to them… imagine that, regulate the drugs and the criminals don’t have a job anymore. Dumbass. You give no solutions to any problem that the United States currently has you just give Bible rhetoric….. but drugs will always be illegal and drug addiction will always be treated like a crime (even though it’s a disease) b/c there is people like you that think the Drug War shows “morality” when really all it’s doing is giving this corrupt government more money and power over it’s people.

Here’s a quote Baron Rothschild said
“Give me control of a nations currency, and I CARE NOT who makes its laws”

You can have all the moral laws you want, but it the end its the special interests and elites that run the country and the have Santorum, Obama, Romney, Gingrich, all except Ron Paul as there puppets and you just sucked in to all their bullshit, b.c you listen to the puppets, You just listen to whatever the media and Glenn Beck tells you and you can’t think for yourself, b/c you don’t have the knowledge to do so……

So go ahead give me some more of your Bible rhetoric….

Honestly, I don’t see the point to this discusion (argument)    It isn’t changing anyones mind.   Everyone here has a small window as to who they’re supporting;   not many have an open mind.   Let’s face it, thuggery never works…ask Obama.

Ron Paul is the only one not bought off by the elites and wants freedom from the elites. The only one that doesn’t take money from Lobbyists. The one with the most support from the troops. AND the ONLY ONE WITH A PERFECT CONSERVATIVE VOTING RECORD

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

No matter what you think of Ron Paul as some of his supporters, there is no way you’re able to smear the guy…. the GOP already proved that impossible. Attack ads for every candidate bringing up there terrible voting record and corruption BUT NONE against Ron Paul. He is consistently honest and is true to the Constitution.

What you are calling facts – demonstrates how pathetic the Liberal mind truly works (or doesn’t work)and if you really believe that I have not answered you, as to how this nation can change its course set for disaster to something more in the realm of smooth-sailing then – you are the one unable to contemplate the English language or understand common thoughts and/or ideas.

    Hear this…..

There is only one way to save our nation – and that is for you liberals to back off and step aside, allowing men having understanding in the lofty principles of God to – take hold of the fallen reins, and stop us from running over the cliff.

You do not get it – No Government of Man has ever succeeded. We as a nation have turned our backs on God and we will soon pay the price – IF – we do not get back to the principles set out by God we are through.

Of course you know nothing about the subject, therefore it’s worthless to continue on with this conversation. I would be further ahead talking to a wall then with a liberal on the subject anyway.

This so called rhetoric (your words) will soon rule the world… rather if you believe me or not, which I’m guessing, you do not, and you will be thoroughly schooled and thoroughly trained in the new rules set down by God himself governing the kingdom of God over this earth.

You might want to bring your argument(s) along with you just in case you can convince God he’s got it all backward…and that your liberal way of thinking is much better than his.

You know nothing of how to rule a nation – and the proof ….you are completely sold on the lies the Liberals have spoon-fed you. You are completely incompetent and unable to understand rational behavior.

The good Baron you quote, didn’t know the one true God because when God makes the laws, just like you, the Baron will obey.

He was top tier right before Iowa and the only thing they could dig up on him was 3 pages of racist writings found in his 253 issues of newsletters that he put out 20 plus years ago. If that’s all they can do, they’re either not doing enough hard work or they couldn’t find anything else to persecute him with…. I think it’s the latter.

The funny thing is, is that he’s probably way ahead in the ACTUAL delegate count, b/c 120 some delegates are unbound, and I’d say at least 75% of those are going to him, b/c the other supporters aren’t as dedicated and don’t volunteer to be delegates for their chosen candidate.

For instance in Iowa he got 75% of the delegates, Colorado he placed last and ended up with half the delegates. If he can place last and end up with half the delegates in caucus states, he can very well go to the convention with the most delegates.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

Just to remind you I follow the constitution to a tee, so if you believe the constitution was based on your Bible… then in all actuality, as far as you should be concerned, I’m following through with your concept of government law and don’t even know it.

Don’t you get it… I can’t see how you say that the Bible wrote the constitution, and then me being a strict constitutionalist, am against the Bible…. it makes no sense.

I’m not saying the Bible isn’t a good moral book, I’m just saying I don’t need it to know whats wrong and what’s right. And having people like you push it on me, just pisses me off. Why can’t you leave people alone? We have a freedom of religion in this country, but I’m sure if Obama made the contraceptive mandate towards a Muslim Mosque or a Muslim Hospital, we wouldn’t be talking about this, b/c you wouldn’t care if the government violated the 1st amendment rights of another religion.

Btw, did you know that contraception is also covered through medicaid? So why are you all of a sudden having a problem with this? Didn’t you know that your tax dollars were paying for this for years, or are you just  all of a sudden making an issue of it, b/c now it involved a Catholic hospital, apparently your “War against immorals” is an in and out of season war. Me being the strict constitutionlist, am against all executive mandates, b/c it’s simply unconstitutional to have one person decide for a whole country, therefore I’m against medicaid all together and would like to transition out of it.

OK Mr. Stull fair enough. Believe it or not I agree with much of what you say here. But you continue placing me in the same overflowing lot as all other religions – that is an insult.

Let me be perfectly frank w/you. And this post may reference from time to time, the name of God or bible or other religious sounding terminology – but please bare w/me and let me make my point, that you may finally begin to understand where I’m coming from.

If you recall,I said before, “the whole world is deceived” – including “organized religion” – do you realize how offensive that sounds entering the ears of someone who has professed one particular doctrine their whole life. But none the less, its true. This is where I agree w/you 100% – religion is as phony as a 3 dollar bill. That is, except one – please hear me out and afterward, you will at least understand my way of thinking and why I feel the way I do.

This may be somewhat lengthy so please ‘forgive’ me – oh no – there’s one of those “religious” sounding phrases now – oops.

Seriously though, there is much to be said. In fact I went round and round with one of those, as you say, “bible thumpers” tonight and hardly got anywhere, many times they are the most difficult to argue or persuade a certain train of thought.

The reason I feel so adamant about things, is what I have learned about the subject of God – Religion ect. The truth is absolutely the opposite to mainstream Christianity as one can get. Its true, when they say up – I say down. When they say right, I say left. Its as opposing to traditional doctrines as anything can be – yet, it makes more sense than all of them combined.

I know before I write this post it will probably be a waste of time, but I’m willing to give you a chance – mainly because of your persistence, but also because there is a certain genuineness about you, that I feel is worth the effort.

As I said, what traditional Christianity teaches is that mankind lives forever – the Immortal Soul Doctrine, they say a person either goes to heaven when they die or they go to hell and are forever tormented in burning coals and hot ashes. 99% of all professing religion believe some form or variation of the above scenario. This false assumption was conjured up by men throughout the centuries swayed by forces unknown and invisible, but none the less, as real as it gets.

Men are not immortal souls – nor do they live forever – proof of that is the numerous headstones, in the countless graveyards, as we drive across and throughout the country.

Here is the meat – this will come to you as a shock, but everything I say can be proven and again, mainstream Christianity would wrap a noose around my neck if they had only half the chance – I mean come on – look what happened to the one named Jesus – you know, the person everybody claims to love – but yet no one obeys. Look at the prophets of God throughout the bible, each one – you guessed it – killed – murdered – slaughtered – call it what you will, but for everyone who claims to “love the Lord” there’s usually an equal number of hypocrites to add to the same list and going by the exact same names.

Men do not know God nor do they know anything about why we humans were placed in this rat-hole called earth to begin with.

    More meat.

You have been honest enough to share with me, that you except the idea of a “higher being” – so it is him I will discuss. This God, your God – my God – the only God, This entity is really pretty cool. I mean we humans haven’t begun to grasp not only who he is, but we don’t have the slightest clue who we are and the potential that lies before each and every one of us – but again, it is our choice – God will not force anything on us – we are designed free moral agents – we are free to make decisions of our own violation. To tell you the truth – that is the secret of our being – it is the decision making process in each of us – let me explain.

I don’t want to write a book here so I’ll try and get straight to the point.

The bible records a time before men or angels or even the universe. There was nothing at all — except for two beings called God and the Word. They boldly claim, that they have existed forever, having no beginning or end of days.

They don’t go into detail about how this could be – but this is the deal – they offer mankind exactly the same life. Humans then, have the potential to live forever, so in the end, I guess it really doesn’t matter.

So this is how it all unfolded. Remember, this is not mainstream knowledge in the slightest sense of the word. Actually this could get me killed. Again, look what happened to the called Jesus.

As these beings always lived perfectly, eventually they made the decision to share what they had with other beings. They decided to expand heavenly beings (if you will) and the angels were created – all of them. Contrary to common belief – humans do not turn into angels when we die. That’s a bald face lie, and easily proven false.

But, these newly created beings were all created with adult type minds and in bodies that were conformed of spirit – unlike we humans. The other thing I should add is they were created perfectly. God instructed these newly formed creatures and they all agreed to obey his word.

The second mystery, little known by mainstream Christianity, is the creation of the universe. This did start somewhat like the big-bang theory, because it happened swiftly and abruptly and in full view of the angels.

Imagine this awe inspiring event, well, the angels did. The deal – God decided to test these angels to see first hand for himself, if these newly formed creatures could be relied upon to do as they said they would do. That is – live without breaking the law, laid down by God.

So a deal was made. God would put one out of every three on a planet called earth – also named by God.

Remember the saying, “truth is stranger than fiction” – well, it is.

Continue…so as was agreed, one third of the angels were placed upon the earth – to be tested. The tricky part, they really didn’t know it was a test. But – in case they failed, that was the reason God placed only one third of them here to begin with. If these perfect creatures failed to live up to the promise they themselves agreed, they would fail and be excluded from the kingdom of God – Forever!

We must remember that spirit composition is something like the analogy of wet cement, if given the chance to change to a hardened state, it can never go back to that which it was in the original state.

God placed the brightest being – the most gifted and brilliant, in charge to lead the earthly angels. Time passed on – perhaps millions of years, – until – This leader who was called by God – light bringer or Lucifer, decided to go it alone and convince the angels in his care to rebel along with him, this may have taken millions of years also, but eventually, the bible records the angels who were placed on the earth (one third of the total number)all sinned by disobeying the commands of God.

This breaking away was not without violence – in fact, there ensued a war between these angels and God himself. It became so violent that even planets and stars were destroyed leaving much wreckage crashing around the universe. Even the earth became null and void and darkness filled the surface of the earth and Lucifer now known to God as Satan – (one who opposes God) was cast down to earth and his angels (now called fallen angels or demons) were cast down with him.

The point of my writting this….

Hey, I warned you this would be lengthy…

What went wrong and what did God do next. Well it could have been millions of years later, but eventually God decided to resort to his backup plan. Plan “B” you might say. The purpose for creating the angels was so that God could share what He has always enjoyed, absolute utopia and eternal life, but in order to give that to other beings he(God) must know for certain, that these beings can be trusted 100%. Kind of like you and me not letting just any ol stranger move in with us. The comparisons though stop there though, we must remember, God is divine and lives in absolute perfection – there is absolutely no room for error in His world.

Plan “B” – now that God was certain the angels were not up to the task, and that no creature was capable of living a sinless life – except that is a God Being – He decided to recreate himself using MAN.

Yes you read that right, God is using us stupid dumb and very stubborn humans to recreate himself – DO YOU GRASP THE MEANING OF WHAT YOU JUST READ? If we make it onto Gods world – we will be very GOD OURSELVES – only Sons mind you, but we will be on a plane a little higher than the angels – we will be GOD BEINGS and that my friend is why Jesus lost his life and all the prophets and it is also why what I’m telling you is so dangerous – because it has had the tendency over hundreds and even thousands of years – to get people KILLED.

Human life is temporary at best – here one moment, gone the next. That’s why mankind’s lack of Godly understanding in our modern day and age is so pathetic – we are fighting over one tiny little freaken rock here called earth, swirling around the Sun, when – if we come to know and understand God and His plan – he offers us the universe and in a body that lives forever.

Now, is the argument over healthcare hardly worth the effort – how about higher taxes – come on – you know as well as I – it simply has no comparison.

Well I’ve got to leave you hanging on that note , but if your interested, we’ll talk more in the future. Politics really are a drop in the bucket and silly at best. We humans don’t get it….none of us!

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

And your reply to your lengthy story…. I respect it, I respect your religion, but I just can’t believe it (I’m not going to go into exactly why and give you a crazy long story like you gave me). I’m not out to condemn your religion, which you show so much passion for, in fact, if that’s what makes you tick, then tick on, be the biggest, and best “bible thumper” you can be. My point is that there’s good, moral people out there that don’t believe in Christianity. To put it into your belief spectrum… There is a lot of honest, good, moral people out there going to hell, simply (once again under your religion) b/c they don’t believe Jesus is Lord. And, I’m not trying to bash here, the reason your a christian is, b/c, more than likely, you are an American that was born into it. You also can’t disagree with me when I say you are stubborn about your beliefs, that’s not a bad thing, stubbornness to me shows some character, but their are hindus, muslims, buddhists, who are just as compassionate about their religion, who are good, moral people, b/c of their religion, and who are just as stubborn as you and won’t budge.

As far as politics goes and the war…. I’m just tired of seeing my friends come home in caskets draped in the American flag, fighting a war for some pentagon contractor. I myself am a veteran of the Iraq war and I also get tired of all these people, that have never seen war a day in their life, so ready to send my generation to die for a global empire and their own political gain. WW2 doesn’t compare to this, that was a declared war, in which we fought Germany and their Axis powers, b/c Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, it was a direct attack, it wasn’t a retaliation attack. WW2 ended in 5 years. This war will go on for 100 years if we let them, but it won’t go that long, b/c it will bankrupt us.

And you tell me is it worth the argument? To me. Yes it is. It’s as worth the argument to me as much as it’s worth you arguing about your Christian religion. Why? I always hear stories from my dad and my grandfather, rest his soul, of how great the United States use to be when they were younger, and I just refuse to give up on the fact that we could have that back again. It’s worth the argument to me, b/c I want a good place for my future kids and grandkids to grow up in. And it’s worth the argument to me, b/c I just simply refuse to give up on freedom and liberty and it saddens me when I see people that just don’t care, and would give up their freedom and liberty without knowing any better.

The United States is the only free country in the world, there’s nowhere to run to if that ever changes.

Z your wasting your time on this guy.  He doesn’t want truth.  I have the most extensive library on New jersey history.  My dad was a collector: I was going to give to Dr. Parker of Rowen university.  He was the # one historian of NJ history and as liberal as they come and his research and books advocated that the judeo-christian nature of the constiturion could not be denied!  My books date back to the 17th century and I had been to sick to compile.  When this does get released, a lot of folks will be eating crow.  Got my poetry book tied up in litigation with publisher.  Carl your wrong, just plain wrong!

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  And that is where true liberty comes from.  No Christian of any denomination advocates theocracy because we know that only a Kingdom will suffice.  A Kingdom who is ruled by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Yashua’s Kingdom.  Until this day to that we advocate a democratic REPUBLIC.  We are not going to stand by and define sin and debauchery as pursuits of happiness!  Our founders used the Scriptures as a template for the constitution.  If you can’t see that well OPEN YOUR EYES!  Paul in Romans chapter one makes it clear that those that balk like you, do so not in search of truth but in protection of ways reprobate.  Rather than retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do that which is unseemly or unsuitable.  The word reprobate, is adokimos in the original Greek and connotes someone who no longer can discern what is in their best interest.  And, this is apparent in your case.  Therefore, it is a complete and utter waste of time for any further discussion.  Because once reprobate or castaway as it is translated in other Pauline doctrine, you cannot any longer discern even when a cogent argument has been exhaustively delineated.

You can believe your fictional story, where angels were cast down from some so called heaven, and one of them was evil…. and the whole fairy tail story of good vs evil like most other religions believe, while you vote for someone that will collapse our country, b/c you don’t really care if they do, b/c jesus is the almighty savior and if I die I get to meet him in heaven. I myself, will keep my head in the realm of reality. But once again you guys can’t call me a “faith basher” b/c you, once again bash what I believe.

Ron Paul did put his name on some pretty offensive, racist news letters.

  • Anonymous

I will not – nor can I believe, there are good and moral decent people who somehow – one way or another (morally speaking) have not gotten those morals from somewhere – humans are born knowing nothing – so it’s what we learn and pick up through life, that make us who we are. Many who claim to have morals (aside from God) …do. Unannounced to them though and others like them, their personal sum of morals rubbed off from the principles set forth from God. Morals and ethical behavior come only from one place and it is not the individuals choice. It is not we humans who decide what is right or what is wrong. That’s a great recipe for mayhem, in fact, that mayhem, can be witnessed throughout this nation and it covers the globe. Have you paid much attention to the news in the past 40 or 50 years – things are rapidly coming apart at the seams…ask older people, if they can ever remember times like these and most will tell you – NO! Things are growing worse, not better. It will continue to do so until, the rules of conduct are re-applied and national laws are enforced better then what they have been in recent years.

That is what is needed in our presidential candidates. It is the person who realizes – where morals come from in the first place – who are best fit for the job, otherwise, mayhem and civil unrest rule the day.

Now, how can anything be solved in an atmosphere such as this? How can we as a nation, get out of the major problems we face – if – every time we fix something in this country, it immediately falls apart – or worse – is torn apart by ill-informed politicians who don’t have a clue – such as the current resident holding this nations highest office.

You bring up some valid points – not because of your high intelligence but actually by your stupidity and I don’t say that to be cruel – again – what you do not know – you simply do not know you don’t know it.

You have the unending bad habit of attaching other peoples beliefs on me – being that you continue to do so, there is no other recourse for me, but to set the matter straight.

Demography does play a part in what individuals believe – good observation, well done Mr. Stull. The free choice of the individual primarily, does not, now that’s not saying that most do not simply tag along without proving matters for themselves.

I have never made the statement that good honest moral people are going to hell – now you’re starting to aggravate me with your assumptions. So listen up. As I stated in the lengthy letter to you last night, what I believe (religiously speaking) is far different from main-stream-christianity. Here’s a shocker for you – the word “Hell”, didn’t even appear in sacred scripture until the King James Version of the bible. Those who did the interpretation, replaced three different Hebrew words with the single word “Hell” – the effect from that mistake have been monumental. Ever since, religion has shifted to a “Play Writer…by the name of Dante” This one single man did more to influence modern religious teaching then probably even God himself. From that time on, the so-called “christian world has taught that mankind has an immortal soul, meaning, that after our physical human deaths – we either go to heaven or if “immoral” we go to “Hell”. Nothing could be further from the clear words of God. God says plainly, the dead know nothing.

Now that doesn’t mean there is not a future resurrection, because there is. Facts be known – which is also very different from the religious masses – there are three resurrections. Again – as I spoke last night, what I believe – is a 180′ from everybody else.

So what happens to those compassionate, stubborn Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists as you point out? The same thing that happens to passionate, stubborn Christians. They die, and God tells us the dead know nothing – that is until a resurrection. Give me a minute to explain these in simple terms…1) the first resurrection takes place when God returns to the earth to save mankind from himself – for lack of morals by the way, in that day, men will have unleashed nuclear war on one another – that’s why I also feel so strongly about the kooky little nation of Iran – Not Getting The BOMB, but that’s another story, now in this first resurrection, not all the inhabitants of the earth are brought back to life. WHY? – It is only for those humans that had the moral standard that God insisted men have. They are the ones who (when human) lived according to his rules and laws, so he now knows them each personally (through a life of submissiveness to him accompanied with prayer)He talks to them from the pages of the bible and they talk to Him through prayer. They simply know each other on a personal bases and God knows that they can be trusted completely. They live and rule with Christ for a thousand years on this very same earth we now reside.

Remember I said in one of my previous posts that no government of man has ever succeeded, well, they never will either. God himself is forced by us hateful imoralistic creatures, to rule over us, that we may finally come to understand what real peace is, through divine Government administered by Christ and his resurrected saints. That is what those who are raised from the dead at His return, will be doing for a thousand years. Afterward, when the world has experienced peace and happiness and economic blessings never known before in the history of man – is when the Second of Three Resurrection take place.

All men/women/children….Hindu Muslim Buddhist and yes Christian (or at least those who went by the name) are raised from their graves and a judgement is given, most professing chritians do not understand anything about this and try attaching it to one of the other resurrections, but they are wrong. These people (billions of them) are given roughly 100 years, give or take, to learn the rules of God (the One True God)and be tested (judged) throughout that time-period to see if their individual “Morals” now qualify them to enter into the Kingdom God has prepared – the greater majority will pass with flying colors – but as you know – some of us humans can be pretty stubborn at times and for some odd reason not all will. It is these, who will die yet again, but in short manner God will bring about the third resurrect also known as the resurrection of DEATH. These people will die in a lake of fire and will be dead forever – not weeping and wailing as the Play-write Dante suggests..for ever and ever suffering excruciating pain and agony – God will have none of that – for he is a Loving and Just God. These poor souls will simply vanish from living forever. God will have (then) given them every opportunity to respond to him, but “They” instead chose Death.

Now please do not affiliate mainstream christianity with my way of thinking, frankly it leaves me no choice but to defend myself, therefore it causes a post to become a letter.

Now to continue responding to your post above.

I agree w/you 100%, if we are going to wage war…then kick some ass and do the job right. Either make the place an additional State or get the hell out – no nation building crap and certainly no risking the lives of our young people in harms way.

But we cannot allow a nuclear Iran. Wishful thinking never solved a thing – Santorum never said his first choice was to break out the bag of bombs, but first give the Iranians no other choice but to pack up the factories and shut’em down. If they fail to take the US serious, better to lose a few patriotic American troops who swore an oath to protect this nation, then it would be to lose multiple thousands if not millions, in some sneak attack on the US. Peace through strength – it works – not turning away from the problems we face like our current commander in chief.

Let me tell you something Carl, America could win this war on terror very quickly if it took out Iran. They are the driving force behind most of the terror we see surrounding the globe. Money, training, machinery and arms, all stem from Iran. The pathetic thing is ever since Jimbo Carter, that rouge nation, should have been dealt with by total defeat if necessary, but the political will to do so was hampered by in fighting and unfortunately for us, political correctness one the day.

The bible speaks strongly about a third world war being started by the pushy nation of Iran. If they are allowed to gain nuclear weapons, WWIII will become reality – SOONER than later. If a Rick Santorum is able to become Leader of the free world, this biblical prophecy may be held of for a time. It all depends on the morals of our people if God allows that to happen.

Hey, “I’ve Got Blisters on my fingers”…gotta get gone..later.Z

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

Let me break it down to my original comment that I started off with, until you turned it into an argument on religion. This is what you said to my original statement

“Being a democracy has nothing to do with immorality. Magnustheos was
clearly making a factual historical observation – that nations who
decline below a certain standard of ethical behavior, suffer through
civil breakdown. The reason ? No one cares for the common good of the
    whole.”

Being a democracy/free society has everything to do with immorality. Immorality can not exist in a free society. The only free society (The United States) has never had a civil breakdown, that is also a historical fact. In the REAL world, money is what gives people power, my whole point in the quote of Baron Rothschild the international banker of the Federal Reserve that controls our money supply. Monopolization can not occur in a free market, their are no bailouts, only bankruptcies, if people start being immoral they lose all their power(money). Nobody cares for the common good of the whole, b/c we no longer have a democracy/free society, we have a fascist society, which requires survival of the fittest through the money supply. The decline in a certain level of ethical behavior is happening, b/c were turning from a free society (like the ones our forefathers told us about) to a fascist society. Our forefathers new of this possibility, which was the reason for the Constitution, to keep us free and  away from immorality.

Here’s another fact for you, just to open up your eyes for you. In 1913, was when the Federal Reserve Act was legislated, giving power to the Federal Reserve to control the money supply(be our bank). 20 years later the United States was bankrupt, so the Federal Reserve said to the United States, what are you going to put up as collateral for the debt. That’s when Social Security was enacted, then our government put up us as collateral, yeah thats right, you, me, our kids, and our kids kids are slaves for the Federal Reserve, we’ve been bankrupt ever since and that’s how the elite bankers want it to stay. So, the root of the immorality starts way beyond the people, it starts at the Fed. This is exactly why we need to free ourselves from them and no longer live as slaves for the immoral.

618,000 – some historians even estimate the number is much higher, somewhere around 700,000.

During the American Civil War, Abraham Lincoln made a resounding statement, “Those nations are blessed only, who’s God is the Lord”

This at a time when our American Republic suffered almost total “Civil Breakdown” – the numbers above are the deaths suffered because, father killed son – brother killed brother and Americans slaughtered Americans.

For you to be taken serious Carl, deal with reality. At least I can prove 100% the things I say, rather if you except the information or not.

I completely agree with your take on the Fed. Its a devouring monster that needs to be dealt with and the sooner it is abolished the better.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

The civil war was entirely, and easily, unavoidable and this is why Lincoln is nowhere near the best President of the United States.

The British empire successfully abolished it without violence. All Lincoln had to do was tell the Union to buy the slaves and free them.

Nice try Zero, but you just show how the government is the one that just makes ludicrous, uneducated decisions and how it effects the people of the nation.

Immorality had no play in the Civil War. It was just plain stupidity.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

True and he did announce responsibility for it… a decade ago or more. I know I’m posting on a Glenn Beck site, so I’ll probably get bashed for this, but when Glenn Beck made an issue of this, I don’t think he realized that Paul was a practicing Dr. while he had a newsletter publication… Glenn Beck makes his living off his publication. He has all the time in the world to review his stuff, b/c that’s how he makes a living.

  • TylerDurden

That may or may not be true, but America just isn’t going to elect Ron Paul. I personally feel he’s running for the wrong party nomination. He should go third party.

Rhetoric you say.  I doubt you know the meaning of the word.  You should change your user name to master of malaprops because of your continual usage of malapropisms.  It is quite apparent that you have an undo preoccupation with meteorological phenomena, but no concern in terms of an ameliorative procedure.  Ergo a vocable to the sapient should be adequate — your far from savant!  About drug legalization, have you seen the recently released Amsterdam studies?  I didn’t think so.  There are so many people who have lost their motivation they don’t work anymore.  During the initial studies, circa 1980s, it seemed to be working.  Now the long term studies are out and the police are closing down about a third of these legal pot shops.  Looks like it turned out to be an abysmal failure.  “Those who do not learn from history…”  Here’s a quarter, why don’t you go to your down town pawn shop and purchase 25 cents of common sense and stop wasting my time.  Wonder how many would be supporting Paul if he changed his views on drug legalization?  Hmmmmm?

  • Anonymous

You are showing your lack of knowledge of how the real world operates. The southern states wanted desperately to keep their slaves that’s why the conflict became so heated after the emancipation proclamation. The South felt they would bankrupt themselves if they were to release their cotton workers – tobacco workers. Much of the South depended greatly on their invested slaves and for them it seemed to be a death sentence. This caused more division in American families then any other factor. A moral decaying of principles was born. What is moral about families slaughtering each other.

Now you add the British into the mix. They did a much better job at freeing the slaves than we yes, but what about freeing their colonial brothers – another major breakdown of civility in America – brother against brother ect.

It doesn’t take much for a person to show how our government has been irresponsible through the centuries. Lincoln had a “moral element” to his freeing the slaves – it was an immoral element that resisted what our founders clearly established – that all men are created equal.

Stupidity for an example – is a man walking out into the street in front of on coming traffic. Immorality is the driver who had plenty of time to stop and save the fools life, didn’t, but instead, sped up and mowed the pedestrian over purposely.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

      You actually assume that Lincoln’s
reason for prosecuting the war was to end slavery. Let’s remember President Lincoln’s
famous words before issuing the Emancipation Proclamation: “If I could
save the union without freeing a single slave, I would do it…” He saw
emanicpation as a tool to financially cripple the enemy; he was not,
and never claimed to be, an abolitionist. He viewed slavery as
unseemly, but even forbade his generals from freeing slaves in areas
they conquered early in the war. Historically, slavery was already in
decline by the start of the war. Fewer than 6% of southern landowners
held slaves at all, and that number was steadily declining. Vile and
unnacceptable as slavery is/was, it was dying out. The war was
re-packaged as an anti-slavery effort; to please the moral sensitivities
    of the northern populace.

Is slavery immoral, yes. Is killing each other immoral, yes. But don’t act like it was Lincoln who was taking the higher ground.

Lincoln was a follower of the old Whig agenda. He believed in 1) a
central bank so the government could borrow to fund 2) internal
improvements which would be used to pay off political allies and 3) a
protective tariff to pay off the banks and the cronies, as well as
protect their businesses from foreign competition. The South would
either pay the tab for this program, because it did most of the
international trade, or it would have to re-organize its economy and
abandon exports to concentrate on manufacturing. The Morrill Tariff
passed in the spring of 1860. This was an economic existential threat to
the South. That spurred secession. Once again, “give me control of a nations currency and I care not who makes its laws.”

    Since people are supposed to
have a government to serve them and protect their rights which the Union
was no longer doing for the South, why is it not moral to let people
replace a government they don’t want with a better one, yet it is moral
to force a government they have rejected down their throats with a
bayonet? Especially when you have a lot of money and resources that you could make a peace treaty with the enemy. Like maybe trade slaves for massive amount of money better industrialization, and lower taxes.

It’s just like the United States putting economic sanctions on middle eastern countries, then wondering why they are rebelling against us…. but it’s alright to you, because the government is telling you that we’re doing the noble thing for all of Christianity.

Hey Carl, do me a favor and try NOT reading your own interpretation into what I am saying. Maybe turning off the “buds Bunny Program” will help.

OK, now that I have your full undivided attention, I did not say, what so ever, in any way shape or form and I never will – that the Civil War was brought about by “Slavery” – My exact words to you were, “The Southern States wanted desperately to keep their slaves, that’s why the conflict became so heated after the emancipation proclamation”
Now quit reading between the lines as you so frequently do, please!

“That’s why the conflict”…there was already war – a conflict…”became so heated”…”became” means here in this context…rose to a deadlier level, or increased with intensity…so that is when MORAL BREAKDOWN was tossed out the window – after Lincolns proclamation…(by the way, there is not a window somewhere, that each of us can run to and toss out our morals…I don’t need you to become any more confused then you already are) Before that specific period of time, many if not most of the citizens in the US, thought the CONFLICT would only last weeks – surly no more than a few months. It wasn’t until the proclamation, did the WAR intensify and become more heated. Moral breakdown quickly ensued as a result.

Lincoln did take the higher ground – firstly, he had enough maturity in him as a leader, to admit his errors and move ahead, secondly he did what no other President had ever done before him and that was, move beyond talking a good talk, to actually walking the walk – it was his signature as POTUS on the emancipation document.

Thirdly, after the war, Lincoln felt shame before God, knowing that our founders built our republic modeled after Gods commandments, in those “lofty rules” – murder – is something forbidden, and as the war came to a close, it was Lincoln – and by the way, he was the last president who ever achieved this monumental deed again, but it was Lincoln who convinced our nation – all men and women, to hold a national day of prayer and fasting before our God and Lord, because of the bloody carnage and civil breakdown resulting from of a lack of morals.

It was God who saved the Union of the States…to continue undivided…under before Him.

Again, you do not have the first “CLUE” about our American beginnings and how Gods hand has played a big role in the establishment of our nation.

I’ll give you that first “clue” now – and as harpadzo says, you will not receive your “decoder ring” until you can figure it out.

The first battle/conflict in the civil war was known as the “Battle of Manassas” Who does God know our people as and what name does he know us by and why?

Isolationism? Please give me your exact definition of isolationism? Are you saying Paul’s an isolationist, b/c he doesn’t want to shove guns down peoples throat and set up sanctions to promote what warmongers like to call “American Exceptionalsim.” Would you consider Canada isolationist, Sweden isolationist, Germany isolationist then???

You know what my favorite war was, the Persian Gulf war, b/c it was the first war on every channel plus cable. Our country loves war… you want to know why? Because we’re good at it, we get a lot of practice. The United States is only a little older than 200 years and we’ve already had more than 10 major wars. That would mean we average a major war about every 20 years, so were good at it, and it’s a good thing we are, b/c were not very good at anything else anymore…. can’t make a descent car, can’t make a TV set or a DVD player worth a fuk. Got no steel industry left, can’t educate our young people, can’t get health care for our old people, BUT we can bomb the shit out of your country all right…. especially if your country has a lot of brown people in it. I mean, the only white people we’ve ever bombed were the Germans, and that’s b/c they were cutting in on our action…. They wanted to dominate the world, but we said fuk you, that’s our fukin job.

Yes, he wants the states to decide HOW to regulate drugs and wants to take the prohibition off of marijuana, to stop the drug war. The only reason marijuana is illegal in the first place is b/c of greed. They didn’t want it cutting into the timber industry and taking it over, b/c marijuana and hemp (which is just a biproduct and cant get you “high” although it’s still illegal) were more resourceful. Now the hemp industry belongs to Canada, and I’d like to see these so called studies that say marijuana is so bad that it destroys countries, and I’ll probably show studies that beg the differ. I also don’t see how you can be a conservative and against states rights? You want federal legislation against same sex marriage and abortion, but don’t realize that if someone wants federal legislation for it, you’re opening the window for them to succeed at it. You have no clue how many people out there are actually immoral until you give more individual rights to them.

He’s evasive about his religion…. how much preaching can one do to someone, why would he talk about his religion forever. He’s a christian, what more does he have to say. His character should tell you enough about him morally. Plenty of times he said he worked as a doctor in a charitable Catholic hospital. He also wants to take government completely out of marriage and leave it up to the religious organizations, you should praise him for this, he wants to give more power to your religion, but I guess if you trust the government agencies more than you trust the people at your church on sunday, I can understand why you would be against this.

Freedom brings people together, we are all individuals, not a religion, a race, a political party, or a gender, and with that individuality comes the responsibilities you have for yourself through the GOD GIVEN laws that the forefathers gave you, for you to say that your christian religion is the way for everyone and the Constitution holds no water to your faith/religion, is just absurd. You say I’m faith bashing…. you know what maybe you’re right. I’m bashing your faith in your own American people, which you are ignorant to, have no confidence in, and no respect for.

I’d be willing to bet that morality would change a great deal in the people, if they had a little more money in their pocket. And a little more money in their pocket that was earned instead of give to them. The way our government is now, that’s impossible, b/c the people have no freedom of choice whatsoever.

  • http://www.facebook.com/walkin.one.man.genocide Carl Stull

Congratulations, your such a genius. I should of figured this out already. It’s all mapped out like the movie National Treasure. Everytime a word can be traced back to God and the Bible means there’s a civil war coming and there’s going to be death and destruction b/c when you find the word God in forms of History, that means everyone is immoral, b/c they are not saying the word God enough…. OMG, (I just abbreviated his name) now I get it… The last time Santorum spoke he said God 400 thousand times in about 13 minutes…. That means he is the chosen one. I think he’s some sort of angel sent from God to show us the way back to morality.

76% of the United States are of the Christian religion… Please give up your idea that the people in America are religiously flawed.

I wouldn’t even waste my time on him.  He must not have read what I had written to Stoll.  The paradigm has shifted, is continuing to shift and will ultimately replace atheistic materialistic materialism.  By the time the world figures it out, well, it won’t matter any way.  Seriously, that adokimos must be from the sixties are something.  To bad Stolls wasn’t old enough to join him when he was at Woodstock.  He sounds like he walked right off of Kent State and right onto this website.

Are you on drugs?  See folks this is what happens when you have nothing but  hops and bong resin for a brain.  Your the poster child for why we shouldn’t legalize drugs.  Yea, like society needs more clones of you.  “The gig is up”  Why don’t you go back to the Congo and visit your family awhile.  Maybe you could gig some frogs.  And by the way, the difference between humans and apes is that they eat the peals and we eat the bananas inside!

It has been…hows O’Reily put it – ? – “arguing with idiots” – that sums it up rather nicely. When Mr. Stull satisfactorily answers my last question directed to him, only then will I even consider re-engaging him in any debate. Looks like he’ll be in jeopardy of losing his decoder ring after all.

Yeah, Kent State or somewhere in the Golden State probably, there’s going to be quadzillions of humans who have abundant driblet’s of liquid gaining momentum down their pant-leg when they’re all standing in line, waiting for their turn, to discuss their lives with THE ALMIGHTY GOD.

For Cannabis it has always been a never ending downward spiral, in law
terms anyway and to the gullible mob. Some people began to see the
benefits of Cannabis for its use as oil for fuel or pulp for paper and
medicines, textiles, rope and plastics and it was too easy for these
magnates that had their own way of producing these materials to use the
psychoactive features of Cannabis as an excuse to incriminate it.

In the 19th century, despite attempts to create cannabis tinctures as
painkillers, hashish became confused with opium, with addiction, and
with the Orient. It became a symbol of the foreigner, and was demonized
as a way of suppressing ethnic minorities. 20th-century drug law in the
US reflected white fears of non-white minorities, particularly the
    Chinese, African-Americans and Mexicans.

In the 1920s a Canadian feminist Emily F. Murphy who wrote under the
pseudonym Janey Canuck daughter and granddaughter to politicians and
newspaper proprietors who later married a priest and started fighting
for women’s rights and enfranchisement. She was a very influential
person and when asked to write about Canada’s drug problem for Maclean’s
magazine, she wrote of “an addict who dies this year in british
colombia, who told how he was frequently jeered at as a ‘white man
accounted for.’ This man belonged to a prominent family… and used to
relate how the Chinese pedlars taunted him with their superiority at
being able to sell the dope without using it, and by telling him how the
yellow race will rule the world.” She added “Some of the Negroes coming
into Canada – and they are no fiddle faddle fallows either – have
similar ideas, one of their greatest writers has boasted how ultimately
they will control the white men.” The identity of the great black writer
    is open to conjecture.

Everything Murphy wrote about marijuana, which was virtually unheard of
in Canada at the time, was hearsay. “Persons using marijuana, smoke the
dried leaves of the plant, which has the effect of driving them
completely insane. The addict loses all sense of moral responsibility.
Addicts to this drug, while under the influence , are immune to pain,
becoming raving maniacs, and are liable to kill or indulge in any form
    of violence to other persons.”

As a result drug users who had previously been regarded at worst as degenerate, were now classed as dangerous public enemies.

It was seriously believed that the black population was conspiring with
the Chinese in order to rape and enslave white girls seduced with
marijuana, uniting in popular consciousness the unholy trinity of sex,
drugs and violence: the period of “Reefer Madness” and hysterical fears
of drug-crazed abandon. Such scaremongering grew more and more absurd,
and in one case cannabis was blamed for a plague of vampires. An
“expert” witness in pharmacology testified at a trial in 1938: “After
two puffs on a marijuana cigarette, I was turned into a bat”.

Idk what question you’re referring to Zero, b/c there’s about 90,000 pages of comments scattered everywhere now, but to prove my point that what your just spouting is bullshit……..

    Zero your quotes from below

“I have never made the statement that good honest moral people are going
to hell – now you’re starting to aggravate me with your assumptions. So
listen up. As I stated in the lengthy letter to you last night, what I
believe (religiously speaking) is far different from
main-stream-christianity. Here’s a shocker for you – the word “Hell”,
didn’t even appear in sacred scripture until the King James Version of
the bible. Those who did the interpretation, replaced three different
Hebrew words with the single word “Hell” – the effect from that mistake
have been monumental. Ever since, religion has shifted to a “Play
Writer…by the name of Dante” This one single man did more to influence
modern religious teaching then probably even God himself. From that
time on, the so-called “christian world has taught that mankind has an
immortal soul, meaning, that after our physical human deaths – we either
go to heaven or if “immoral” we go to “Hell”. Nothing could be further
from the clear words of God. God says plainly, the dead know nothing.”

“So what happens to those compassionate, stubborn Hindus, Muslims,
Buddhists as you point out? The same thing that happens to passionate,
stubborn Christians. They die, and God tells us the dead know nothing –
that is until a resurrection. Give me a minute to explain these in
simple terms…1) the first resurrection takes place when God returns to
the earth to save mankind from himself – for lack of morals by the way,
in that day, men will have unleashed nuclear war on one another –
that’s why I also feel so strongly about the kooky little nation of Iran
    – Not Getting The BOMB, but that’s another story, now in this first
resurrection, not all the inhabitants of the earth are brought back to
life. WHY? – It is only for those humans that had the moral standard
that God insisted men have. They are the ones who (when human) lived
according to his rules and laws, so he now knows them each personally
(through a life of submissiveness to him accompanied with prayer)He
talks to them from the pages of the bible and they talk to Him through
prayer. They simply know each other on a personal bases and God knows
that they can be trusted completely. They live and rule with Christ for a
thousand years on this very same earth we now reside.”

Okay Mr. Biggest Bullshitter in the world

You say “good moral” Hindus, Muslims, and Buddhists all get the pass to live and rule on earth together with “good moral” Christians.

Then here’s where you put YOUR religion on top of everybody elses……. You say God talks to them from the pages of the BIBLE.

Are you sure God talks to them from pages of the Bible? Or is it the Quran? Or is it the Tipitaka? Or is it the Vedas?

Here’s my final and last argument that debunks everything about religion…. Some people need it and some people don’t. We both agree that written law is what has shaped the morality of people, whether it be the written law of the religion you believe in or the written law of the government you grew up in. And we both agree that the Constitution is morally a good document (when followed), but lets look at the golden era, as you say about all the old people saying its getting worse over the years, there was no War on Drugs, there was no war with every overseas country across the globe, b/c we were’nt intervening in other countries squabbles, there was no medicaid or medicare….. To put it bluntly the size and scope of the Federal Government was very small, even though there were gay people, drug users, and sex fiends, it just wasn’t openly talked about, b/c privacy was respected…….. Now if you want morallity to come back, you have to ask yourself what the role of government should be and the answer is……. it really doesn’t have much of a role to play at all, more government just screws things up worse and from the 1950s to today is proof of that.

Idk what question your referring to and I don’t feel like digging through 90,000 comments to find it just to read another one of your typed fairy tales.

You proved nothing, but how much of a warmongering and fearmongering neocon you are.

It is not the responsibility of the church or government to
stick their nose into a person’s private life. If you can’t afford to be
responsible you can’t afford to partake of the activity. If you do it is your responsibility
to bring up the child or give it to someone who can or get rid of it at your
expense. If help is needed it should come from private donation and not government
    tax money.

Keep us out of Middle East politics.  When an attack happens in the US of P(perversion)
then it will be the fault of these fool who interfered with areas of the world
that were not our concern.  Unlike people
like Zerogon who tries to strike fear into the average nimrod I have zero fear
of any major attack by any terrorist group.
When they do strike it will be something like the scenes out of invasion
USA. They will come into our
neighborhoods or schools and kill large numbers of families or kids at random
    then disappear.

Rick Santorum confronted him,  Charlie didn’t want the media’s bias to be discussed and he backed down.  Impressive.

i know i like grinrich i think his conversion to the churh made him a better man the problem is the Left crucifies with lies and most people fall for media instead of the Truth! To save our country and world from this tyranny of Soros New World Order we must speak up and and vote Republican!!wish Romney would apologize for Romneycare, that is why he is the weakest candidate.if he thinks it is his religion.its not.How did we get a Muslim extremist terrorist as President this time?!

AA in attempting to make a point misses yours almost entirely. You mentioned mining Helium3 on the Moon, he brings up Tritium and then carries on as if that is what you said.  Helium 3 and Tritium are far from the same thing. Tritium, even if Cold Fussion it were possible, is not advisable since the one of by products is fast neutrons which result in energy loss containment problems.  Helium 3 on the other hand, if “Neutronic” Fussion becomes a reality, would only leave normal helium and a protons.  AA may be right to say it is “ludicrous or looney” to mine Tritium but misguided to even bring it into the disscussion.  And for him to say we should use our resources to “service” our debt is also misquided.  The fact is, it is mathmetically impossibe to pay down, let alone pay off, our nations enormus debt.  I agree with you Jim that the U.S. should mining Helium 3 on the Moon.  But I seriously doubt the powerful elite, who I believe are already delibrately suppressing and withholding technology, will never allow the gereral population to have such an abundance of energy.  Those greedy wicked men like and want things just the way they are.

Charlie Rose NEEDS to get owned.  I’ve seen him interview progressives with soft ball questions and no follow up to their answers.  He definitely does NOT interview a guest the way I would like !  And for that reason…I am out !!

There will never be a fair playing field.   The media doesn’t  want to play fair.  I am sure the american people want facts, not the commentators views.  Are we so stupid.

adokimos…you are a person who needs others to feel sorry for you…very insecure and maybe because you think your Dad didn’t love you??  I’ll bet you wet the bed into your teen years, and are living on our tax dollars through government charity? Too bad…I guess we ‘Jesus Freaks’ will just have to pray for you and ask Jesus to forgive you for the things you ‘don’t know’…which IMHO is a tremendous amount. Well, here’s hoping you finally see the light and have a good day. Just remember, YOU cannot change your past, but you can start right now to insuring you have a much better future! Cheers!
