Easy – get the blasted Fed off the back of the Americans who can develop the domestic energy reserves over the next few years; we have the capacity to become secure with enerty here at home to the degree that if the Gulf was shut down we will not be in crisis danger.

Of course the crisis of oil is what Obama wants; watch for him to seek authority to nationalize the oil businesses, confiscate for Federal usage all gas stores and the like the instant any possible action is started by him in the Gulf against Israel or Iran.

The thought of oil at 440.00 would have Obama and Soros salvatating at the carnage it would unleash to destroy this nation.

Drilling here would raise the price of oil. Wehave about .000001 percent of the amount of oil here in america that we consume. That means we need to continue to buy from the middle east. We would be purchasing less from them, which would drive their prices up so they can make their quota. Get it?

Easy, by word concatenation: Pipe-line, drill-now, invade-Iran, impeach-Obama, rape-planet, huge-trucks, big-military… and all the neoconish things you can think of.

If only there was a way to harness Obama’s speeches.

Would love to know where you came up with the .000001 percent figure?

The price of oil will drop when the demand goes down. The demand will go down when we stop wasteing time and money on alternative sources of energy that will never work. Wind – not reliable. Solar – too expensive and not storable in any usefull quantity. The proven sources are nuclear and natural gas. Why not use nuclear to A/C our houses during the day and produce hydrogen(the cleanest burning fuel there is) durring the night. Start off small switching bus and cab fleets to hydrogen and/or natural gas, then if that works start switching more and more fleets of them untll all buses and cabs run on something other than gasoline. When that’s done move to the truck fleets, by then the price of gas will be a lot less and we will produce enough in the USA for our needs. I guess that’s just too simple a solution.

The Keystone pipeline cannot resemble an Exxon Valdez or BP Deepwater Horizon disaster.  Even with the use of fracking, underground oil spills can be capped far more quickly than underwater ones.  Whether we use Keystone or not, the fact remains that most OPEC nations are our enemies and within a few years they might collectively refuse to supply oil to “evil, imperialistic (their words)” America.  Why not set up the markets here in America now?
The government has to purchase large tracts of ranch land throughout the plains states.  This is an instant bailout for struggling farmers.  The next step is to find any unemployed yet skilled oil workers and start giving them a paycheck.  Many of them will be laid off upon completion of the pipeline but many will be needed to stick around and oversee the refineries.
Private enterprise will suddenly boom with energy cooperatives, brand new trucking companies, and entrepreneurial initiatives undertaken by sudden wealthy Americans.  Overall oil consumption greatly decreases as it takes oil to ship oil here from overseas.  Tariffs (tax on imports) are hereby eliminated and Iran loses its power base.
Or we could all just loiter around a gas station and hope that the guy from the progressive car insurance commercials will come by and fill our gas tanks for us.

“The government has to purchase large tracts of ranch land throughout the plains states.” Why do you want the government involved? Why can’t the ranchers just sell the land (or lease it) to the oil companies? The government will just screw it up, while taking forever to get it done.

    Can’t argue with that.

Doesn’t anyone know how to build and operate a “still” ??

The only thing that is driving up gas prices is supply and demand combined with commodity investors. It has nothing directly to do with the government and the middle east. These baseless conspiracy theories that are being spread around are starting to get tiring, then to hear others mimic these theories as though they are true is disturbing.

Actually we get a majority of oil from Canada, about 60%, next would be
Mexico, about 20%, then the United States, 15%, and then lastly is the
Middle Eastern countries, which all together would add up to about 5%.

And I guess critique only hurts the critic?

Actually Saudi Arabia provides us with a slightly higher oil import than that of Mexico.  You have conspicuously lied about this fact and I can’t figure out why.

Stop driving and stop flying. If you cannot do that, then limit your car useage to something reasonable. Make all things happen in one destination. Then stay home and relax rather than drive all over the place shopping and spending money on things you really don’t need. If you are in the category of being the half of the country that pays your taxes, think before you shop and save your extra money. The other half who don’t pay taxes are already having a terrible time affording gas, so don’t let it be me and you. We waste gas when we don’t need to. Plan accordingly so you aren’t on the road all the time. Simple idea that works and saves too.

Here’s the deal ,this is IT stop all that silly talk ,the reason gasoline is high is THIS !!! Wild gambling on the futures Market ,put a cap on that WILD GAMBLING using mega computers ,throw all those dam foreigners off our exchange in 30 days crude will drop $30 a barrel ,but you have to get our president to sign the bill ,what am I saying REGULATE THAT EXCHANGE ,then big oil has no excuses to raise the price ,we need to stop talking about drilling because we are a 500 billion field in ND there hundreds of wells that are capped in Texas they were getting it cheaper from the middle east ,Pelosie would not let it come to the floor .do you really think Jack Gerard is going to tell you that ,he gets his cash from big oil ,ask him why we  sold/sent all 70 billion barrels from the Alaska pipeline to Japan every barrel.,we need to drill build new refineries & stop selling excess heating oil & gasoline to India & China ,some of us dumb ass consumers are as smart as Gerard Jackson who gives silly upstream downstream BS answers

Question did not our President obama at one time said during his campaign he would like to see or want the price of gallon of gasoline to be 5.00 ,but not a sharp jolt but rise slowly so people could adjust?????? Now in President obama press conference March 6, in one of his answer he said you think politically he want gasoline to go up before election. We should of had one smart reporter to ask a follow up question ,after election would  you still go after your 5.00 gallon or more ,despite what it do to economy of U.S!!! ???? Matter how hard it will hit the comsumers ,to promote his progressive agenda ,green energy ,bring down U.S !!  To me the only thing that matter to our President is to win  his upcoming  election so carry inputting his progressive agenda !!!  It sound like he not truely thinking of economy, price of gasoline to citizens,or a Iran furnish terrorists nuclear bombs going in our cities with no return address !! I say the important thing no one wants war ,but U.S citizens would put up with higher prices per gallon to defang Iran from getting nuclear teeth now conventionally than nuclear bombs going off in our cities or nuclear war !!! But our President obama been leading us up to his set up with two hard choices only 1.) defang Iran now conventionally with sharp increase in energy & our economy that will tank 2.) Or let Iran become nuclear and just his half try with sanctions for cover !!!  The way he set up U.S citizens  delay and cancel keystone pipeline, just about stop drilling in the gulf ,and both coast,Alaska, by not renewaling or new permits, won’t open up federal lands, stopping all new  refineray from being built  etc. so we have our own energy resource and lower prices !!! To me obama don’t have the well being of U.S citizens & Israel as priority but his re-election  and his progressive agenda and to have the first mad dog rogue Mulslim nation of Iran to be nuclear power on his watch !!! , To me he setting up U.S citizens,Israel ,the world for Muslim conquest !!!!!

Have policy that oil company must provide U.S with gasoline & oil at a low profit margin ,if they can provide 80% of U.S fuel, then they can sell up to 50% of all fuel they produce on world market for greater profit since it’s a natural treason in way it belongs to all of us !! Incase of national emergency U.S got first dibbs!!

You need a change of music on that radio broadcast buddy (What can be done with gas prices) .  Rage Against the Machine was the band that illustrated and made Chae famous with shirts and an albumn cover of his face…Tom Morello their guitarist was in the Occupy movement….they are socialists. Even made me think he was of importance until on your show I learned about revolution.  I know its only the music, no lyrics….but that is how they spread their word, and they politicize everything, read some of their older albums lyrics.
