No suprise at all that Mr Obama honors his socialist and communist friends with the highest civilian honor the nation can give. Obama has betrayed his sworn oath, one made in a promise to God himself that he would defend and protect the nation and carry out the duties of his office; and he has shown to be the liar and villian he is by each action taken.

Obama needs to understand clearly, as we all do, we are given a task in this world as ordained by God himself, to carry forth in the world. Those who are entrusted with much, such as Obama, and in turn sell out the heavenly riches for the glory of the world will be required all the more before God on the day we all answer in judgment, for good or bad.

The glory of this world is but for a moment in passing, and if God decides one is to be given honors for the advancement of His cause and will; then let it be done.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord Almighty, and never will I willingly bow before any man.

Agreed. I see it this way, if God Himself declares a man is to be honored for the advancement of HIS plans, then let it be done. Otherwise Heaven itself and the crown of eternal glory and life, along with eternal home with God and Jesus are my goals in this world.

Consider whom Obama heralds and whom he decries (subversively).  He holds contempt for the highest source of revenue, the 1%.  Why would you hold contempt for the people who will ultimately pay for your policies Mr. President?  Prior to Herman Cain’s candidacy free fall, wasn’t he President Obama’s toughest potential challenge?  He would have forced Obama to EARN the black vote instead of just simply TAKING it.  Obama’s people (the media) exacerbated the story of an apparently flirtatious old guy into something it was not. Then…Rick Santorum was caught on you tube some months back deriding contraception.  Then Santorum starts doing well in the polls….lo and behold, Obama and his people make a provocative move, forcing Catholic charities to forego their conscience and do what he says.  Yet he tells the nation that Rick Santorum has waged a war on women, even though all he is guilty of is being Catholic.  Current Republican front runner Mitt Romney has a well-documented, wishy washy take on gay marriage.  It’s an issue that can kill him, why? Because Provocateur Obama has responded to Romney’s past on this issue by becoming the first president in US history to endorse gay marriage, forcing this issue into the forefront for the Right’s presumptive nominee.  
So there you have it, Obama has all the cards of his demagoguery in place.  He has the gays, he has the blacks, he has the atheists, he has the women, he feels he has the Latinos because he says he has the backs of their illegal constituents.  He says he has the poor people since he hates the 1%.  
Now if you are white, if you are male, if you are rich, if you are Jewish, or if you are Christian, consider how Obama feels about you.  If you are any of these things here in this latter group AND YOU VOTE REPUBLICAN, people with a leftist view will give you the following labels:  Racist, anti-Palestinian, oppressors, narrow-minded, living in the past, greedy, mysogynistic, myopic….etc. you get the idea.

It use to be people were ashamed to get by dishonestly or deceitfully, children of illegals are taught and others that to school with them or work them or expected to accept they are pity cases and its ok to do whatever they need to do to survive. How many of you have worked with people who think like this? How many of you have had to endure being treated like your nothing even though your honest and hard working; but the deceitful people don’t want you to look good or they believe everyone is dishonest like them? If dishonest people keep being allowed to stay in positions of authority over others, such as leads, PIC’s, focal points, supervisors; think how this is going to affect your children, who you raised to live by ethics.

Of all the good people that won this award, our paper, The Stockton Record, put Huerta’s picture on the front page with the president and I already knew what her personal affiliations were.  Disgusting and disgraceful, but then look at the rest of California and our legislature.  We’ve become the northern states of Mexico!

The bafoonery and myopia of Beck, yet again on full display.  If you listened carefully, beck lamented and criticized Obama for being  an”anti-colinialist”……… Ummmmm, isn’t that what any right minded, compassionate person aspires to be?  Quick overly generic definition of Colonialism, taken from  Stanford Encyclopedia-  Colonialism is a practice of domination, which involves the subjugation of one people to another.  So can someone tell me exactly why it’s SO WRONG for Obama to be an anti-colonialist?    Or do we want our leaders subscribing to a train of thought, like the ones OUTDATED super powers, such as  Great Britian, the OTTOMAN EMPIRE, the ROMAN EMPIRE, use to practice. YOu know, like wHen they use to go into foreign territories, and re-populate them with people from the mother country. Which in effect made these countries no LONGER SOVERIEGN, and directly beholden to the superpower/empire in question. …… So isn’t beck directly contradicting himself when he denouces ANTI-COLOINALISM as being bad.  Because being one essentially means that you want peope to be self-sufficient, and govern without the interference of a foreign overlord.  Strange for someone like beck to miss this point COMPLETELY, especially when he constantly talks about GOV”T INTRUSION on peoples’ lives, and is a strong advocate for STATES’ RIGHTS.  OR IS IT NOT?

SECOND POINT:   SOCIALISM at it’s core, that is from a THEORETICAL perspective (nevermind practice, and the worldwide failed attempts at implementing it) is about giving power NOT TO THE STATE, but rather to EVERDAY PEOPLE who run an industry, town, city, enterprise, or whatever the case might be.  IN other words it aims at producing an egalitarian mode of thinking, where WE ALL have say in what goes on.  IN CONTRAST, capitalism, at it’s core is about one THING- PROFITS.  Capitalists gnenerally overlook the fact that their policies, such as closing up shops and moving to a country where they can maintain maximum profits,  is going to lead to people losing their jobs. Capitalism is a dog eat dog mentality.  And while I agree with that notion, to some extent.  IT does not make it any less harsh of a system, especially to avg workers, who often live pay check to pay check, which usually is just barely enough to get by.

SO my point for distinguishing socialism from capitalism is simply this: just because people in the OBAMA adminsitration might agree or like some aspects of Socialist theory or practices, does not make them “crazy radicals” as Beck would like everyone to think. I would actually argue, that it possibly makes them a little more compassionate than most.  Or should we all just sit idly, while some companies charge us $150 for shoes that cost 10 dollars to be made? I am not adovcating, nor making a plea by the way, that we should all become socialists, fyi.  Rather, all i’m saying is that we need to REMAIN FOREVER critical of the STAUTS QUO, AKA, CAPITALISM as it stands today., Let’s no be afraid to tweak it and incorporate tenets from other systems, bc as it stands today, the system produces a whole lot more have nots, than haves.

The leaders in any socialist society believe they deserve more and get just as greedy as in any other economic system. At that moment, there are FAR more poor than in a Capitalistic society The difference: Those leaders turn into totalitarian dictators, just like in Fascism. Capitalism, in it’s true form, gives everyone a chance to be on top. Just because our politicians have perverted the system to their own ends, does not mean Capitalism is a failure. Again, you failed to read my post, or undersand it at the least.  I was talking from a theoretical perspective.  YOu bringing up leaders and how they have co-opted what socialism was suppose to look like in say Cuba, Russia, Cambodia, etc, are what have occured after the fact of an attempted socialist revolution. James – Say what you want about capitalism as it exists in the United States – but what we define as “poverty” here in the good old US of A is considered WEALTH in most of the world.  The European middle class, especially the former eastern bloc countries, live in conditions indistinguishable from what are sometimes called “ghettos” here.  Well, the Europeans DO keep their “ghettos” cleaner…  And, yes, I have lived there – 8 years total, across 3 separate tours of duty.

We aren’t perfect, or even close – we are STILL just closer than anybody else to the ideals that we believe in.  

A “have not” in America is even allowed to complain!  Try that in most of the socialist “worker’s paradises” of today.  Call me from the hospital – if you get to one.

I’ll be happy to give  both up (forced to have Medicare against my will, not allowed to opt out), on both, would love to get my money paid  back and be able to decide and control my own health and finances. Look, I never denounced capitalism in its entirety.  I didn’t go back and read my posts.  My overall point, is that we need to be critical of it, and that socialism in theory, is not a bad idea.  Therefore let’s not let Beck, and others condemn people who do not necessarilly share his views on socialism as this all encompasssing evil system, and mode of thinking. I’m less of an advocate for socialism, than critical eye for how BECK overly simplifies issues.

ANd I know we are not perfect, but we shouldn’t just accept things as they are, and compare ourselves to others in order to make our standards of poverty sounds less appealling.  WE need to remain critical, of whatever system.  And if you notice, especially on libertarian and conservative outlets, like this one and fox news. They denouce socialism and leftism, as poison, having whole shows on how disgusting they are.  But ask yourslef this, WHy do they not devote whole hour shows to the inherent inequalities of the captialist system.  NEVERMINd, comparing it to socialism, But why not just devote entire episodes to the pitfalls, (which you alluded to captialsim having) of the system.  A lack of transparency definitely on this site, and others exists, and that more than anything is where my beef lies.

you’re right to an extent.  Failed attempts at socialsim have become giant dicatorial beauocracies.  But that’s not to say that the greatest most exceptional country, and you know who I’m talking about, cannot find a way to actually implement the system in a way, that works as it’s theoretically envisioned.  People like to talk about the U.S, the greatest country on earth.  We bow down to no one, and do it better than everybody else. Okay, if most of us believe in that mentality, we shouldn’t be afraid to deviate, even slightly from a broken system, and attempt something that at it’s core aims to better the lives of MOST PEOPLE.

Spain “conquered” and plundered the area and crushed the Aztec and native civilization that existed and cut the native population in half. Mexico sort of evolved from the descendants of the Spanish conquerors and the Aztecs/Mayans and maybe some Incas. Mexico declared independence from Spain in the 1800′s. They never stole anything from Spain, nor did we steal California and Texas. We did settle in the areas, but Mexico had never had much control over the outlying areas now known as California, Texas et al and the war(s) and border actions settled that.

I used to think that way, until I took a close look at human nature. If you give power to an institution, perhaps “in theory” an honest person could run that institution fairly, but what happens when someone else takes power. Do you trust every one? I prefer to have a choice, and fail on my own merit. The government is supposed to protect the people, not control our lives.

Since California is in such debt maybe this is the right time to give it back to Mexico.

Business only has as much power as you give it. I have a choice where to do my business, the only problem that occurs with business is when the government is involved. Bailouts, funding for failed green businesses, unequal taxes, and regulations give certain businesses an unfair advantage. When I work, I don’t toil, I provide a service. The problem is that people think they should live for free and that work is bad, that life should be easy. The truth is that we do not have a flawed system, and when allowed to work with out restraint works perfect with human nature. Who cares who owns what, and how much money they make? The truth is money does not make you better, happier, or more successful in life. If you want more, nothing is stopping you, but don’t think that all those rich “owners, shareholders, and boards of directors” have anything more in life than you do. In America we are all spoiled, and we should appreciate it. Stop trying to “fix” it, your just screwing it up.

This President has made a joke out of the U.S. The rest of the world is either laughing or crying. Places like Russia and China is looked at with more respect now (who could of seen that coming).

DO NOT allow yourselves to think Mr. -0bama is stupid, niaive, inept, or misinformed; you MUST understand that Mr. -0bama knows at all times PRECISELY what he is doing.  He is enacting the plan of his handlers that is the design to destroy the United States of America, and he is a willing tool.

We are at war and Mr. -0bama is the ENEMY!  He can only be defeated if we never allow ourselves to under estimate him and those whom he serves.  We must, therefore, take well-considered action at every opportunity and we can ill-afford to be slack in our duties as Americans.

1960′s Delano California; Caesar Chavez resigns his position as president of the Community Organizers in the Bay Area and moves to Delano. The AFLCIO and Saul Alinsky backed it up. Dolores Huerta was partner with Caesar Chavez. They immediately drove out by threat the ‘year round table grape workers’ that lived in Delano; Gov. Edmund G. Brown shut down the ‘Bracero’ Program which provided workers from Mexico only during harvest. Students from Universities came to march in the fields; they had to pay Chavez to attend the strikes and stay there. Do any of you recall the ‘boycott grapes’ marchers in front of your Safeway stores?? The unions moved in; forced elections. Bobby Kennedy came and there was a Senate Investigating Committee in Delano. My aunt and uncle testified as to the truth of what was happening. Boycotting table grapes was easier than when they hit the Salinas Valley and the lettuce crops. Most of the growers in Delano were from Yugoslavia; they immigrated there and grew table grapes. The workers from Mexico at harvest were most times ‘regulars’; they made the circuit; just like the wheat harvests in Colorado; harvest was done quickly. Table grapes require year round care and a year round work force. My aunt and uncle sponsored many ‘bracero’s’ to become US citizens. It was a healthy working relationship; most farm camps were decent; the ones owned by individual ranchers; the larger ‘corporate’ farms like Schenley Industries were’nt as nice and there was certainly room for improvement. When Obama appointed Huerta to the Deparment of Labor and gave her authority to act without giving her a title that required congressional approval it was just the same Community Organizing ‘family’; the same ‘family’ Obama is from in Chicago. It’s all Socialist’ it’s all following Saul Alinsky model. The unionization of Agriculture is a big piece to control what is grown and when a strike is called to threaten a harvest; etc., etc., It’s all in the communist game plan. My Uncles foreman had a mental breakdown; the threats and intimidation were constant. Delano is a very small town and my birthplace. There was no truth being given in news coverage; the Church believed the plight of the farmworker; Caesar Chavez never worked in the fields; not since a very young man and then not long at all; I think it was Texas?  They have recently renamed the building where the dining room is in Washington DC Department of Labor the Caesar Chavez Room complete with a large Mao like image of Chavez. It’s been going on for so many years and totally dedicated to achieve the takeover of the United States as we knew it. Wake UP!!!

We are the farmers, the electronics workers and defense industry workers that have to commute two hours each way to go where the jobs are; we are what’s good about California.  This country was designed to be a republic, not a bureaucratic state, which socialism has to be. It cannot work. The Constitution and Bill of rights are the practical implementation of the universal, guiding principles set forth in the Declaration of Independence. It was designed to be limited, weak central government,with checks & balances, in 3 divisions, legis, exec, judicial, with no one branch having or able to concentrate power in itself. What is broken is not the founder’s designed system. Wilson and the progressives started the country’s slide with his horrible foreign policy and his anti-black policies, undoing 70 yrs of progress in civil rights and the start of the destruction of education. FDR with his denigration of the Dec of Ind and the Constitution and his nanny state socialism and his expanded Bill of Rights expanded government and the bureaucracy, concentrating power into the executive branch. You need an education. Socialism in theory is bad and contrary to the guiding and universal principles ne of which is self government to which socialism is opposed, also liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We have already attempted socialism; it has failed. Most of Europe is failing, with socialism. The most socialist countries are trying to shift course and go to more free enterprise and less government benefits because it is unworkable and ensures that more and more of the population end up on the dole and the rest flee the crushing debt.

Unions even dictate who can work in the union and who can’t, (I was a manager at a unionized business and we had to hire 3 drunks and 2 incompetents plus a union steward before we could hire 1 competent worker who didn’t have seniority) you can’t get a job in many industries, including teaching, without joining a union and paying a high percentage of your wages to the union bosses. THAT’s Socialism which is more corrupt and corruptible  than the system designed by the Founders, which does require morality, religion and education per the Founders, to ensure the ability of self government. Non land owners got to vote for President and for House offices and state legislatures determined the Senate seats, though that changed very soon. Up until that time, there were many Negroes who were educated and in positions of trust, who voted. Your theoretical socialism  does not cannot provide a level playing field from which those with ability, knowledge, initiative can advance. In theory and in practice, everybody is the same and only the bureaucrats can be above. We are all equal in rights but we are not all equal in ability, intelligence or physical characteristics. Unfortunately we have awakened and the nightmare continues.    We’re making headway with the TeaParty wins but still have a ways to go.    We certainly will go down fighting if need be;   they WILL NOT be handed America on a silver plate!

We, as Americans, only desire people to go through the legal process of becoming a citizen and understand their integration into ‘our’ society under the Declaration of Independence & Constitution.  [well... its hard to wait, for sure] I would respect that if I was to migrate somewhere. Of course there are those seeking ‘safe harbor’ from oppression. If its determined that you’re not a criminal and the State only deems you a threat due to a desire for legitimate, peaceful change in your country and life is in peril….. again, welcome; we’ll work out the details.

America, due the extreme circumstances of our Southern Border, and the affairs of our neighbors to the South, needs to strictly enforce our Southern Border, all borders, to insure, to the best of our ability, that the rights & laws of our citizens are not trampled on or their very lives are not extinguished due to nafarious activities, illegal migration, or the inability/willingness for a government to control the situation within its borders. Is this too much to ask of our Federal Government? It would seem so since the Southern States about the border must declare and re-state federal law to enforce it themselves.

Our language is American English as seen in our primary documents- is that so hard? People anywhere should be able to gain a working knowledge of a local language within 2-3 years…. and hopefully improve from there. If you’re thrust into a situation where you’re visiting somewhere or have to work there [like we do when we travel abroad] - that learning curve will be steep for sure and for certain.

Integration means to enjoy the covenant agreed to as an assembly and  as individuals and to accept OUR laws, not import them whilst forcing US to change for you. If you desire your laws here or intend to wedge a religious control about US – please accept the fact its either your true desire to be a part of America or consider staying in your country of origin, change things there, and hopefully you will prevail…. as We did.

Madame, No one has a right to a job but the environment should be made safe as possible. I know lots of children that work driving combines and our Big-G touts ‘make ‘jobs.jobs.jobs!’ but destroys hard work, pride and opportunity at every turn. The young people of our nation are hurting for work and you penalize their ability when given their consent to enter the work that’s placed before them. Transportation is not a right – it is a privilege.

To Sum up – You are a citizen. If you have a lot of hate about you, for opportunity, and want to display your hate in the form of suppression, communism/socialism…. may we offer you a door to another country? You slight your oath… and I count you as a fool.

The sad truth it isn’t shocking with this president. I hope the GOP uses this against him because he cannot deny her radical past.

I’m not sure if i agree or disagree with you.  First off, you’re right, protecting low wage farm workers does not make her a socialist.  What makes her a socialist is the facts that are presented in the article,  “She praised the cooperative farms, free medical and dental care, the free housing for the people (that Venezuela’s military commands their representative to provide).” That’s all socialist stuff, and that it says right in the begining how she, “is not shy about her socialist beliefs…” 
But now i totally agree with you how i don’t want a country covered in concrete with a Walmart on every corner but…honestly…that’s not how it would be.  Even if there was a walmart everywhere, in a free trade system, You DON’T have to go to walmart.  You could go to ma and pa stores, you could grow your own food or make your own clothes if you want.  In a socialist system you can’t do that, at least not without fear of the government. Walmart could do what they want but the people can choose for themselves whether to go there or not.  Walmart would be out of business within days. 
I also don’t see your point of protection from “interfering corporations”.  What corporations are you talking about? No corporation is interfering with my life. I go to whatever store i want for whatever i want and no corporation is trying to force me to go to them.  Maybe that’s just me though.  Beck’s solution is the same thing i’ve just described.  Support the ma and pa stores, grow and keep your own food, take care of yourself, invest in something that’s not going to lose it’s value (i.e. gold or silver) and faith, give yourself a reason to push on, to be a good person.  That’s what faith is.  It’s the BELIEF in salvation.  That after this life, there is something worth while.  Now, does his solution really sound that bad to you?

Wow that was a great well thought response, can’tt say I agree but thank you.  My problem is that the choice as to Ma and Pa or the Walmart big box, is becoming harder and harder, I’ve seen it happen so many times in Mid-west towns, they can’t compete with walmarts prices because they don’t have the buying power so they go under.  I don’t want to live in a socialist state either, I do feel that Government does have a role in America life and welfare, to protect the elderly, the young and sick and provide good education to its next generation.

My problem isn’t with the idea of capitalism its with the capitalist.  I don’t like how big corporation treat their workers, I don’t like the Unions as they have become corporations themselves and forgot why they were started.  After all Unions got us the 5 day work week, ended bad child labor laws.  The british car industry is a great example of this.  Terrible management and bad unions, and now there is no british car industry.

You’re right that I don’t have to shop at walmart and I don’t.  The problem is that for some people it isn’t a choose because they’ve crushed the Ma and Pa stores and its the only option and then become the interfering corporation that I’m now force to shop at.

Allow to introduce myself as an American who originally was born in the communist country of Cuba, and spent the first ten years of my life obeying all the rationing and avoiding all the unspeakable terrors Fidel Castro would use to control the citizens. Among these citizens was my mother’s cousing Dr. Rene Gomez Manzano, one of the writers of “The Homeland Belongs to All”, who was imprisoned for several years for crimes against the state. This was for writing a proposal to create a democratic state.The stories of pain and suffering are endless. When I left Cuba in 1972 toilet paper was already rationed to one roll per month. I’m just using that fact so you get a tiny idea of what liviing in a communist regime is all about. The same way Obama preaches and promises salvation to all; yes just as Jesus did, it is the identical style that Castro, Chavez, and so many others like them use. It is just a technique the communists use to brainwash the masses. Nothing new. Obama is an expert at this. The biggest problem is he has backup from groups like the ACLU and others. I now understand your point where it’s not capitalism you don’t like but the greedy capitalist.  I get ya there and i agree, some companies are just flat out greedy and take advantage of the system.  All i can say to that is well, nothing really.  We know that being greedy is wrong, many people know greed is wrong but no one can really do anything about it and that sucks. 
I just try to keep in mind that big companies like walmart (and even Glenn Beck) didn’t start out that way.  They went threw growth and colapse and hard times when they were starting out i’m sure.  I’m not a walmart historian but wasn’t it started by one of the Walton’s? They were a somewhat poor family and the one decided to start a store and he prospered, kinda like McDonald’s too.  That is capitalism, starting from nothing basicly and growing to huge stores, success. But sadly success can easily turn into greed and corruption.  I don’t have an answer to that. 
As far as Beck goes, i see him as another capitalism success story.  His parents had a bakery and he always talks about how it was hard growing up… He now, just recently, rented out (and sold out) the Dallas Cowboy’s Stadium for one of his speeches and he paid for it basicly himself! He’ll profit yes, but he also gives back. That’s awesome

why does that not surprise me….he sure does not try to hide stuff and then expects to win….maybe he already knows who will win(him) and he does as he pleases…please don’t let that be true….

Thanks for the link and yes i agree that this professor makes good points such as everyone should have equal access to representative government and that’s not how it is today.  I believe it’s what the founding father’s were thinking of that everyone will have equal access and we’ve moved away from that.  That’s why i’m a conervative.  I believe the father’s were correct for the most part and that we’re simply not listening to them. 
I never knew about those companies that hire line standers to wait in line then as they get close, i’m assuming, a representative from the company shows up and takes the stander’s place.  That was shocking!  One thing i notcied though (or maybe i missed it) but does the professor ever propose a solution to this problem? Again i didn’t hear it if he did so if you wanna point it out that would be great.  If he didn’t have a solution to it then well it sorta goes back to what i said, “sadly success can easily turn into greed and corruption. Solutions to it well…. not really, he is doing what any good professor should do, provoke, question and demand that his students think and argue these out. This is my problem with un regulation for monopoly company, bank etc… They don’t deserve our trust with our hard earned money, they’ve proven it and we bailed them out.
