Lies and deceit: this is how the Democrats stay in power.
Year after year, Democrats and their media mouthpieces have spewed propaganda that is clearly false—it seems unfathomable that anyone could believe it. For years Glenn has exposed their lies, from surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic power grab to blatant falsehoods about President Trump, and we are bound to hear even more fallacious propaganda during tonight's kickoff of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Here are recent lies the Democrats and the mainstream media have been spewing so you won't be fooled:
Lie #1: Biden isn't senile

For years, conservatives watched Biden fumble, stumble, and mumble his way through the presidency, and for years, conservatives were called conspiracy theorists for noticing the blatantly obvious. Just before Biden's embarrassing performance in the June 2024 Presidential debate, claims relating to Biden's cognitive decline were written off as Republican "cheap fakes," and the American people were assured that their president was as sharp as ever. Time and time again, Democrats and the left-wing media covered for Biden by blatantly lying to the American people.
Lie #2: Trump was hit by glass

Nothing is sacred to the Left. Instead of rallying together as Americans after Former President Trump was nearly assassinated, many on the Left quickly started trying to find ways to downplay the event. A popular rumor that gained traction was that Trump's ear wasn't grazed by a bullet at all, but rather a shard of glass from a teleprompter. That theory was even echoed by echoed by FBI Director Christopher Wray. This baseless claim was parroted by many Leftists online, including co-host of The View, Joy Reid. The FBI has since walked this claim back and has confirmed that it was, in fact, a bullet.
Lie #3: You voted/donated to Joe Biden

After the mask slipped and millions of Americans realized that Biden was just as incompetent as conservatives knew him to be, the Democrats had to come up with a presidential candidate fast. So they kicked Biden out of his campaign and dropped Kamala into his place. Suddenly, America had a presidential candidate who hadn't won a single vote and was funded by donations addressed to a different candidate. On top of that, Kamala was never popular, neither during her 2020 presidential campaign nor as VP. But when she was needed the Left decided she needed to be popular. Kamala's campaign is built on nothing but lies.
Lie #4: Tim Walz served honorably

If you need more evidence that Kamala's campaign is built on lies, look no further than her choice of VP, Governor Tim Walz. If we excuse his radical progressive policies during his tenure as Minnesota's governor, Walz still has a glaring mark on his record—his resignation from the National Guard. Walz served in the Minnesota Army National Guard for approximately 20 years and resigned as soon as he learned that his unit was getting deployed to Iraq. The National Guard records show that Walz snuck out of the National Guard without completing the required paperwork with his retirement filing, showing, “Soldier not available for signature.” Walz was a key leader in his battalion and abandoned his fellow soldiers right when he was needed most. Yet Kamala still touts his "service" as a boon.
Lie #5: Kamala can fix the country

Kamala has already started making all sorts of campaign promises. From the border to the economy, the Harris-Walz ticket is being sold like a miracle cure-all, which raises an important question: if Kamala can fix all our problems, why hasn't she? She's been the Vice President for four years now—she's had the opportunity. The best Kamala can offer is more of the same that the Biden administration has delivered—or lack thereof. This is why Glenn says that if we lose this election, we lose the country. America cannot withstand four more years of radical progressive policy.
