Haiti Makes Unprecedented Move to End Corruption -- and Then Trump’s ‘Sh*thole’ Comment Happened

The CEO and founder of Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), Tim Ballard, joined Glenn in the studio today to walk us through his recent undercover operation to take down one of the most notorious ringleaders of child sex trafficking and slavery in Haiti.

Wait…what?!

Tim’s astonishing story began last year on Super Bowl Sunday when the O.U.R. team received devastating news: the “kingpin” sex-trafficker that the operation had successfully put behind bars had managed to bribe her way out of Haiti’s corrupt legal system just days after her arrest.

Tim and the O.U.R. team enlisted the help of the Haitian media, Rep. Mia Love and, ultimately, the president of Haiti, Jovenel Moïse. Over the next several months, six of the judges who had accepted bribes were removed from the bench and Moïse pledged to put an end to child slavery and sex trafficking in his country. The O.U.R. team planned a second round of sting operations which took place last week … on the very day that President Donald Trump made his now-renowned  ‘sh*thole’ comment about Haiti.

How’d that go?

“It was the most awkward moment of any operation I’ve ever been on, and I’ve been on a lot over my 16-year career,” said Tim of the moment when the news of Trump’s transgression hit the headlines. “The attorney general of the country is sitting across the table from me, the chief of police is sitting next to him … and we literally have a recon team out … we’re all geared up ready to go … and there’s television teams all around … and, boom, I see this above their heads…. In this moment, and this is the message coming from America to Haiti.”

Uh oh, so what happened next?

The sting operation went forward as planned, despite Trump’s remarks, and the heinous “kingpin” of Haiti was brought to justice. “It’s like a movie. It was the craziest thing,” Tim said describing the operation as it went down. “She was sucking on a sucker, calmly, and [she said] ‘I’m protected by evil, you can’t touch me.’”

A pre-Inauguration Day plea: You wield MUCH more power than you know

Glenn has spent years teaching YOU — his audience — about the power of Martin Luther King, Jr. After nearly a year of witnessing chaos and turmoil both in the streets and now at our Capitol, we're all frustrated. We're angry. And we want to fight back. But Glenn says now, more than ever, we must refuse to engage with the darkness. We must be a light in the world, instead. MLK is one of the most powerful leaders America has ever seen, and he led some of the most profound changes too. He did it all nonviolently. As we approach Inauguration Day, and as the left HOPES you engage in chaos, never forget that like MLK — you wield MUCH more power than you know.

Dan Bongino details behind-the-scenes 'SMEAR' against Parler

Dan Bongino, host of The Dan Bongino Show, is an investor in Parler — the social media platform that actually VALUES free speech. Parler was attacked by Big Tech — namely Amazon, Apple, and Google — earlier this week, but Bongino says the company isn't giving up without a fight. In fact, he says, he's willing to go bankrupt over this one. Dan details what he calls a "smear" campaign behind the scenes, and how he believes we can move forward from Big Tech's control.

YOU will be RESPONSIBLE for loss of rights if you riot

A new poster is circulating social media, calling for a record-breaking armed protest to take place across America on Inauguration Day. Here's Glenn's advice for those considering attendance: DON'T GO. No matter who is responsible for the poster or for any possible future chaos that may take place, the far left and the media WILL blame Trump supporters regardless of the facts. And because of that, if you attend and partake in rioting, you WILL be responsible for the loss of our rights that will come as a result. Don't go. But, listen to this clip to find out what Glenn thinks you SHOULD do on Inauguration Day instead…

Parler exec speaks out against ‘unfair’ Big Tech throttle

Big Tech isn't making it easy for organizations outside of the left's coalition to survive. Amy Peikoff is the Chief Policy Officer for Parler — the social media platform now throttled by Amazon, Apple, and Google. She joins Glenn to discuss the recent moves made against Parler and how the company is fighting to move forward: "We're doing everything we can to save civil discourse on the Internet. I promise: We're on it."
